I've been looking around at outerwear and that alpaca double jacket caught my eye, so good (prolly old news for you guys, but it was my intro to Stephan Schneider a couple weeks ago and I keep coming back to it).

I am a bigger guy, have never owned or handled Schneider.
WW's measurements for the size VII make it seem crazy big (length 30.3", chest 26.4", sleeve 28.7", shoulder 21.3"). I read that sipang and others size down in SS outerwear relative to the shirt sizes, which further leads me to believe that this thing is huge. The thing is, I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility for me, for example it measures about 1-1.5" larger in most dimensions than a fitted leather bomber of mine (except sleeves which are about the same).
How should I interpret those measurements, is this piece an outlier or is the outerwear generally oversized? What size of man-god was this piece designed for? If anyone who has handled this stuff can weigh in I would appreciate it.
