Are there a lot of people who'd need VII?

think preorder would be the way to go

not a ton of people wearing VII from what I've seen, but enough that you'd likely get orders if you offered it as a preorder rather than simply buying am allotment

what I don't understand is, why would a retailer not stock one or two Size III and Size VII examples to gauge the demand instead just refusing to stock less popular sizes? There are a few stores that seem immovable from IV, V, and VI

Always wondered too. There must be a minimum order of QTY if you buy a certain size I suppose.

There is no minimum per size.    If you really wonder why retailers don't want to buy the larger sizes, I invite you to tour our warehouse and see all the stuff that is leftover from the season : a lot of 54 and 56 and XXL stuff.   This is the reason retailers in our little menswear universe don't buy the very large sizes : because people tend not to purchase them.   There is no inherent bias involved, it's simply a matter of experience and learning from past sales patterns.

Now, show of hands... who here knows for a fact that he is a size VII in Schneider and would like to see those in stock ?       6'4", 175 would not be a VII IMO, more likely to be a V

That makes sense. Not that this is a large enough sample size to be completely representative, but when I think about everyone I know, only one or two would take a size VII, while a decent handful would take a size III. I suppose some kind of preorder system may be the only way for everyone to come out happy.

bro i'm 5 10 174 and the vi shirts barely fit me and knits are perfect size, if you're bigger than me you need a vii

been wearing and checking out ss before any of you crackas knew about him

It's a hot or miss for me. Shirts in a 6 fit okay in the sleeve but tight in the body. Paraffin in a 7 fits great in body, slightly on the spacious side, could later with a light knit if need be, however the sleeves are super tight; no chance I can wear it with a long sleeve

Pulled the trigger on the Armenian in a 6 and both shoulder measurements are .5" larger than a 7 in paraffin (maybe to compensate for additional fabric?). Hope it fits

@gdl: varies by piece, but I'm most commonly a 7 in schneider stuff (6-3, 215, 45in chest)...and yes, would like to see more SS in bigger sizes

I appreciate the input my friend.  However I have about 15 Schneider pieces and almost all are VI (couple of outerwear are V).   I may be taller than you but I don't do 50 pullups a day so I have a very different chest than you.  The blonde model that Schneider uses is about 6'4" and pretty skinny (maybe 170-175) and all he wears (on pics and live at the collection presentation) is sz. IV

So I will add a VII on the order and we'll see how that goes...

I am 6'3", 180 pounds, and take a V. (It isn't tight.)
