schneider just doesn't have the name recognition/appeal to be able to sell the way gitman and boo do (I think by design, and better for the brand really). fewer stocklists this season seems to speak to that to some extent

Yeah true, but Schneider did sell pretty well for them from what I recall. It was practically impossible to get most things in anything smaller than a V by the time they went to 30% off.

I was surprised too. Stopped in and talked to the dude running the store a year or so ago and based on what he said, I would've thought he was going to stop offering Frank Leder, not Schneider.

It's a shame. SW buys were usually where I procured most of my Schneider from.

thank you for mentioning schneider and lemaire together. i expected no less from you. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

part of me wishes I knew how to work rakuten/YJP the way some folks here do...the other part realizes there will never be anything in my size there

It's funny that people always say that. There are plenty of guides for proxy services and it's really not that complicated. I was too lazy to learn too, but after my first purchase realized how simple it is.

And regarding sizing, yeah a lot of the stuff is medium or smaller but that also means more people are bidding on them. So many steal prices for the larger sizes I think it's worthwhile to figure it out. But sizing past eu50 is pretty rare.

Rakuten has direct shipping...and they've worked more to accommodate international shipping even more by having half off on shipping a lot of the time I think the only hurdle is payment really.

Has anyone seen one of these coats for under $1000? I love it, but can't justify the $1400 price-tag they want in Japan for it

Is that that exclusive omotesando coat you posted from AW11 frozen waves years ago? I lusted after that hard knowing that they never made it in my size. Or is it the wick coat from this season but a different colorway than mine.

Edit: Looks like it is the AW11 omotesando coat.. I still want that coat too.. if they ever produced a size 5/6 grrr. Still have the pics I saved and uploaded to imgur to ask tatjana to see if I could custom order it somehow.
