Stephan Schneider. You'll Always Find Me In The Kitchen At Parties. - Page 178

If you're talking about the blue patterned cotton scarf and you're thinking about buying it, I wouldn't sleep. It's fucking awesome.

Even though the turk cardigan is a bit slouchy in the body, I find that the sleeves are pretty slim. It may stretch if it is tight on you, but I can't imagine going one down

Looking for some input on fit. Do they have a very slim upper block like some of his other trousers?
Thanks

I just got these.

My suspicion was correct; they were way too tight around the seat and thighs frown.gif

Skinny cut for being wool trousers.

Great fabric and construction seemed nice overall. Super soft with good drape. Not as thick as expected.

I picked size V for 34 hips where I wear trousers (always take a size 48 in trousers) and I could barely zip the waist up. I doubt even a VI would fit.

Edit: This being my third consecutive sizing failure with the designer, I am beginning to question the size I chose for the Ijevan.

6'3, 41 chest, 18.5 shoulders, 185 lbs surely must be a size V in that cardigan, right? My main concern is that the slightly too big shoulders will make it look sloppy.

Does anyone have measurements for the Ijevan in size 7?

Yeah this was my experience as well. Generally wear size 32/48 with a true waist of 33" and picked up the size V (Was actually foolishly contemplating size 4) but decided to go with V out of concern for thighs.

Fortunately unlike you I can zip it and it fits but is tight on thigh/seat/calf slightly, and with the thinness of fabric I'm slightly scared of what will happen when I sit down ;p I think size 6 would have been a good pick.

I'd say never expect much thickness in his pant fabrics as even AW weight has always been very thin in my experience. Great hand though. Nice wool/linen blend.

I tried SS pants once and never again.

Crap. I went with a 4 in the Babylon, true waist of 32". I went based off measurements (size 4 was listed at 16.34" waist laid flat). I grabbed some pant shorts and pants from the summer season in 5 and they were ginormous (17" waist), so I decided to go with a 4 this time. I have the Ethnic trousers in a size 5, which has a 16.5" waist laid flat...and they fit really well.

Hopefully the Babylon isn't too tight in the leg/thigh for me since I could just go to my tailor and let the waist out in that case.

I saw the pants you had, and own them as well. They are like sausage casings. Total outlier though... most ss pants are cut normally.

It is actually really cool reversed and has a chest pocket (though no side pockets) and it looks great on the quilted side. Only caveat is that the arms are really slim so you can't wear any heavy layers underneath. Fits TTS with SW's numbers.

How warm is it? Thanks!

I'm worried now, I picked up a VI in the Ethnic trousers.

His pants probably have a more regular cut and a more slim cut. Similar probably to what I've heard about his shirts. In the future it probably just makes sense to ask the retailer if its the slimmer or more regular of his cuts before buying.

Btw thanks for reminding me about the southwillard sale... snapped up another 3 leder shirts.

I haven't worn it out yet, but it's not made for extreme cold. It's about as warm as it looks I guess. Remember, you can't wear much more than a shirt underneath it because of the sleeves.

Just picked up the last size 5 ijevan with the code... Didn't realize it was final sale until the second after I clicked confirm.

It might be too big, I'm generally a very slim 48 so I'm thinking a sz 4 would of worked better for me. I know some of you guys are looking for it, so it might go up on B/S in a few days.

That's def gonna be too big/long on you.

Why did you order if you knew it'd be too big?
