just doesn't look the same fitted/sized down. i don't think most people run this risk unless they buy a size iii. snake's is properly oversized

^ I can't speak for the wool version of the alpaca, but I used to own the moleskin that Severish is selling and sized down to a 3 (I'm usually a 4 as you know) and it fit me like it does in the lookbook pic you posted, but honestly, although it fit, I felt I was a little too restricting in the shoulders and I couldn't layer the way I wanted. If you have the build that would allow for it, it will work, but in my case/opinion, true to your standard size was the way to go for the moleskin. I think the wool alpaca fit ever so slightly bigger from measurements I received and if that's the case you might still be good if you sized down.

I've owned both a III and IV, and the IV definitely fits much better than the III, and I'm a true 36/46 (5'9, 140lbs). If I recall correctly snake is a size smaller than me, and he has a size III. Just figured I'd give my input, as I've owned so many of the damn things

Snake has pretty much the same measurements as you do, as do I, and I think I would still go with a 3 in the alpaca. It still comes down to build and whether or not you are ok with some restricted movement, etc.

To be honest, a great number of the fits posted in this thread of the alpaca jacket have been absolutely horrible.

Yep, gotta agree with this. I mean, show me one person who has sized down w/ a fit pic?

A lot of them look pretty sloppy taken in normal sizing, imo

reedo, I think you should be able to pull off a sized down Alpaca, probably more so than myself, my shoulders are a bit broad for my size. Will be curious to see a fit pic when you get it.

Yeah it's quite difficult to wear so it's difficult to sell in Singapore. Some of the stuff in there is pretty light which is more ideal for this region.

Yea I don't foresee any pitfalls, other than forum bias based on seemingly made up lore haha.

Even if it doesn't work out I might just hang it up as a display in my room, it's so beautiful

No, but if someone is interested in placing an order and splitting shipping, I want in.

I'd be interested in this too but there's not much point until sales time, is there? I imagine pretty much everything they stock is available online without the exorbitant shipping cost.
