The stitching is exposed with the collar down like mine? That doesn't sound right..

+1, stitching on mine is exposed with collar up, just like yours.

Sorry should have said - it's not the same cardigan.  I'm not even sure what it's called but it's the drop-shoulder dark grey one from the spring.

5 fits perfectly, no pulling on the buttons, shoulders are at the bone and I'm pretty sure it will stretch out a bit to fit more relaxed as I wear it. I'm usually a 42 (52) in most brands or Large, my measurements are 20" across shoulders, 42" around chest, 35" around hips

So you sized down from typical SS sizing, 4 = 38 (S) , 5 = 40 (M), 6 = 42 (L)

I got the Quilted jacket in size 5 from SW Friday, and it fits perfect in the shoulder/chest area...but the body is little large, and the sleeves are tight. Will post a fit pic when I get the chance.

Thanks. Picked up a 5 as well in dark grey.

How the fuck do you wear a 5 with 42 chest? Something doesn't sound right unless it's just one size large. I have on ss oversize cardigan from two years ago that is a 5 and has a slouchy fit for my 41" chest.

maybe sizing varies? I asked south willard to measure the actual sweater that they would send me and it was a 45" chest on a size 5 the 6 was like a 46.5" chest

Fit looks good. How warm is it?
Jacket was thinner than I expected, but good enough for brisk autumn/fall weather at the very least. I'm expecting it will be good for the weather until early/late December; Boston only really gets cold Jan/Feb.

Jacket looks better in your pics, fit slightly off probably due to your build holmes.

Project 8 buy is online. Very pedestrian.

Anywhere I can still get some type of poncho from SS f/w 12? Picked up some footwear and I think a poncho would tie it all together, playing dress-up or not.

going to get my cowboy steeze on
