Got my tapis scarf in. Cotton but really really super soft, and it's giant so it drapes really well. Very satisfied.

Order also had the AW lookbook and it was surprisingly well done. Linen wrapped hardcover

I got an African tailor to make me some pants using the patterned trad fabric they wear a lot in west africa, should go pretty well/clash awfully with the cape.

Can anyone that got the Sisian(sp?) crew neck tell me how the length is? I'm 5'6", wondering if it would be stupid long.

Length is stupid long

^damnit

even in baby sizes?
I don't know about baby sizes, but in my size it was much longer (body & sleeves) than typical SS. I think Au Revoir has measurements on the site

maybe this one is a better bet? looks like the same material but shorter length and maybe more of a scoop/v

That is the ladies' version Art, though I'm not sure if there are significant differences in cut. I say GO FOR IT (aurevoir has a coupon that might still work maybe)

ah good catch, wondered why the sizing was listed different

+1. Art, I got and returned the sisian in size 4. At 5'7" myself, I'm not even sure a size 3 in length would be much better if my chest size would allow me to wear a 3... the bottom hem cupped my ass completely, the length is on par with a blazer.

bummer, knit search continues, thanks guys

Ijevan cardigan came in this morning. It's 85F out right now so I've only had it on for a few moments.
But from my first impressions.. it definitely doesn't fit as large as last years and the size III fits me wonderfully. It's chunkiness gives it structure at the shoulders yet still drapes off of your body nicely. I know some of you guys dislike the contrasting placket, but it's really not too big of a deal.
One thing I noticed is that there's a seam running up the center of the back collar. It makes it a tad thicker and might be problematic for those of you who like to 'pop dat collar' as it'll expose the stitching. Nitpicking aside, I recommend you guys go and put in an order for one. I don't want to hear any complaining from you guys for sleeping on this awesome knit.

I'm really happy with mine glad I didn't listen to you guys and got a size 5.

^ my cardigan has it the opposite way- folding down the collar exposes the stitching, hah

great fit snake, even though it unfortunately confirms that i'm too short for the ijevan frown.gif
