Hahahah Quatsch - first instinct at half is to go to SF and post too? :D

Özil and Kaká have been the best for Madrid thus far, with their closer control and skill on the ball. HIguaín squandering two golden chances at goal upsets me. I daresay we had the game "under control" until that last 5 minutes.

Edit: That scoring pass by Messi was class as well. Can't deny that.

I'm watching at home on espn3.com on my computer plugged into a TV, so its easy to hop back over to the browser!

özil's shot that hit the bar was beastly. Talk about a ball with pace.

Yeah, espn3 on campus, so similar situation.

ARGH. I can't stand the feeling where you just know a game is slipping away. 3 goals in the half to tie, let alone win the cuptie. Impress me Madrid, impress me.

Ramos goal should have counted after two straight clear fouls by Alves.

Edit: Good god, Benzema.

So, because he fouled before, and got punished, Ramos should be able to foul him without being punished?

This is nerve-wrecking. Ramos did nothing, that ref is a blind idiot.

BTW: caught up with the game on the second half, who scored for barca??

Blah. Good game to all. Madrid merited the win though - superior play the majority of the game, and ref got sketchy over the last 20 minutes with our classic falling culés. Ramos goal should have counted (I've seen more far contact in the box before get no calls)

Puyol looking a little old in that second half.

Alonso too.

Breathe your sigh of relief, Barça fans and march on to win your Copa against teams that roll over and play dead when pitted against the Blaugrana - the league is all white this year.

Lol at teams rolling over against us.

Horrible performance, but all this ref talk is a bit sour. The ref was bad both ways. I believe just before Madrid's first goal there was a falsely called offside on Barca, which would've resulted in a dangerous attack. Instead you got the free kick, and scored like a minute later. Lass should've been off for that ridiculous challenge on Messi. There was a fair penalty shout on Pepe vs Alexis (afterwards a similar situation not called in our end, so no bias whine here, just saying, if he's going to favor Barca on purpose, he's gonna give that penalty). It's not all black and white.

They were far superior tonight. You have to take your chances. Ramos red was a joke. That pathetic Busquetes again.

Alonso too.

Alonso shouldnt play these matches any longer.

Ref was ****, though if its a missed offside it was the lineman. Didn't even allow the free kick with the foul at the end. Diarra should have been off.

Barca were the better side in the first leg. Madrid superior tonight and deserved the win.

Its psychological at this point. Madrid, you must admit, are getting closer and closer.

IMO, the different tonight: Kaka. Yep. Held the ball which made a big impact. Madrid had possession consistently for most of the game. Great substitutions. Ronaldo outplayed Messi over both legs. Xavi. Goddam that guy is unmatched in midfield.

Ronaldo had a great goal that was definitely huge, but I'm not sure about outplaying Messi. Madrid took him down any time he had a ghost of a chance. Its difficult to say.
