Yeah, I figured. You're a madridista, but you call it pretty fair.

I'd wish you luck this weekend, but you know....tongue.gif

Ribery's dive early in the game was exceptionally bad, a true groaner. He fell another time, but it looked like someone stepped on his foot. Other than that he played very well. I didn't see anything that should have gotten him sent off. He was strong and put the ball in dangerous positions, in addition to scoring.

Bayern were worthy winners. Madrid were okay but they struggled to get anything going in the midfield and passes were going all over the place. I expected better from them. It was a good game, although I would have preferred that Madrid had won.

Coentrao was weak the whole game and was 80% responsible for the 2nd Bayern goal. Marcelo probably should have been sent off for an absolutely moronic challenge at the end.

Not to rub it in but...the CL games are during lunchtime on the west coast, which works great for me. I just head to the bar about one block away for lunch then go back up when it is over. No one has any idea, although I would tell them where I was if they asked.

The games on the east coast are annoying since they are at 3pm. I'm so happy I can watch the game tomorrow on foxsoccer online so I can watch it at work. No clue why the game is not being shown live on FSC, but I will take it!

Really? I watched the game in Brussels and the crowd in the bar was very neutral. Consensus was that Ribbery was continually fouled without getting a call. At some point the ref has to understand he is missing the call. HW is usually a good ref ,but tonight he missed a straight red and a few other calls--which should have gone against Real. All in all, it was a great game but Marcello should have been off.

Milk carton awards go to Ronaldo and Robben - both of whom went missing.

Howard Webb seems to go out of his way to keep players on the pitch (de Jong/WC) but he needs to make the tough calls sometimes and send them off.

Coentrao was shit all game, and I happen to rate him very highly. When Marcelo came on for Uzil I thought it was a mistake and it turned out to be. Coentrao was the worst player on the pitch.

Not really. I thought they were both pretty active. I didnt see anyone go missing in the game save maybe Benzema and Gomez but not really.

He does. He doesnt want to decide the match. I thought he did a fair job considering all the diving swans on the field.

It wasnt a very good match in general to watch. Neither side looked comfortable. I dont think Bayern have much of an advantage.
