Carroll, what a dbag. Free on goal and he chooses to flop. how appropriate.

I don't think he is a gem either, but he was seen as an incredible midfielder before his transfer to Arsenal even though he is average at best

I strongly believe this Newcaastle team (if they stay together) will crack the top 4 next yr... maybe even land the 3rd spot.

^^That is a huge leap and completely unwarranted. Newcastle is a top 10 team not a top 4 team.

I cannot believe the Newcastle fans got on Carrol, he did not want to go and clearly he was sold at max value to a team that will never see a return on their investment. Sad for him.

On the other hand, the Liverpool fans have a right to be livid. He has been a baby all year unable to stand in against center halfs that have easily taken the measure of him as a palyer and a man. Today he made clear his prefers diving over scoring. Not sure where he goes from here.

I don't think it is.. They probably have the best defense in the lague... imo the best keeper.. and they have built a deadly strike force in Ba and Papiss Cisse.

Ugh. It is so difficult here sometimes because people engage in the idea of hope over logic. They have one team. That might work in La Ligua but that does not work in the EPL. You need two teams and that is why the top four are controlled by a small group of teams that can withstand injuries and issues.

Second, their keeper is very good but he is not the best keeper in the league. There is a reason De Gea went for the huge price and Krul will not. He is good, evidenced by his play today and in other games, but he can't even convince the Ntherlands to start him. I like him, and more importantly, he is a gem of find, but don't get carried away. Additionally, there is no chance in hell this team will remain intact. Carroll was a decent striker on NUFC but he goes missing at Liverpool. It isn't because he sucks it is because he isn't a player of that caliber and few of the NUFC players are. Tiote maybe but he will be on another team next year. Newcastle will sell players because the players will want to go and they will be offered large sums.

that's why i said IF they stay together.

as for Krull... De Gea will probably be better than him in the future, but as we speak... that is certainly not the case.

and I understand your concern with the second team, but their's isn't bad at all (Leon Best, Ameobi, Obertan, Ben Arfa etc), and they have the opportunity to stack p the roster next season I really believe they have the tools to make the next step.

Tell you what, Cisse for Newcastle has, in 7 games, scored more goals for his new club than Andy Carroll has since joining Liverpool.

All in all, Liverpool actually played pretty well for 80 mins. There was a handball on the line they didnt get. But it fell apart with Reina.

One sign if freefall is when you play well and lose. Here I was giving Dalglish manager props in an earlier post.

Lastly, it beggers belief that a guy like Carroll can do the hard part by getting free, rounding the keeper and is thru on goal only to take a dive... I mean what the fuck? Thats a player with 0 confidence.

Are you serious? Leon Best, Shola Ameobi, and Gabriel Obertan are one massive pile of shit. Ben Arfa is an on-again, off-again starter, and a very good player.
