Just caught 2nd half at the Heathrow BA lounge! Couldn't believe my eyes. I seemed to be the only one cheering for Arsenal in this lounge - what is wrong with people??? I thought 2-2 would have been a decent result for Arsenal but 5 goals! Unimaginable when they went 2 down. biggrin.gif

Watched Chelsea v Bolton as a neutral "fan" at Stamford Bridge West Stand yesterday. Chelsea fans must be among the least passionate in England; the first half was awful but then the home team woke up and scored 3 in the second half and dominated completely... I still could hardly hear the crowd of 41,000 singing. Nice goal by Luiz by the way, and no dribbles in front of his own goal yesterday.

United's win against Norwich - how long can Ferguson keep riding on Scholes and Giggs? You'd think it'd be the horse that gives by now.

The worst PK shoot out I have ever witnessed. Cardiff deserve the winner with the stop of S. Gerrard's PK.

Atually that is how it looks but in reality both were off beautiful crosses by newer players. Yes Scholes and Giggs were great today, but they were just part of a side that could easily have had five others. De Gea was beast.

*Disclaimer - currently watching the ESPN3 replay of Rayo/Real -

This game has an amazing atmosphere - early spring day with a lot of sun, small urban stadium with passionate, local fans for the home side. Giants coming into a recently promoted side, on a poor quality pitch. Reminds me a lot of Primera games in Argentina, when Boca or River would head out to San Juan or Mendoza. Wonderful footballing atmosphere.

Now if Madrid could just get out of this funk and put the game to bed...

They were poor but it was a good game and an exciting ending. Cardiff have their own league and there is no security reason for them, Swansea, Newport and Wrexham to play in the English leagues - they should be playing against Rhyl and TNS. I don't like Liverpool but its better than a foreign team winning an English competition.

Except Cardiff and Swansea are far better than any other team in the Welsh league. It would be like the SPL with the Old Firm, but even worse.

Fantastic setup, fantastic goal. Inter looked worse than ever and were never in the match. A tie would have been undeserved; 2-0 would have been a more justified result. What, 10 or 11 corners to 0??? Umpteen Inter yellow cards.... That says a lot right there. Inter are a complete disaster. I don't know if Ranieri makes it to tomorrow.

Sneaky free kick by Messi to snatch the 3 points.

The whole match he looked like a sad little boy losing his desert.
