ok i was a bit harsh, there was an unevenness in the ground which caused a bobble before he struck it, not much he could have done after that so lil canna is absolved here

Brothers in football is a really fun concept to me (it's one of the few passtimes that I share with my own brother)...

But sometimes you just have to wonder about the mental stress that could lead to. The back of my shirt may say Cannavaro, but I play for a "struggling" Napoli side and wouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as the WPotY award, as opposed to my older brother who captained a WC-champion Italy side. Or I'm Mikel Alonso plying my trade in a League 1 side while my younger brother is the metronome hub for Real Madrid. Messi has a cousin who's still bumbling around the 2nd division of Argentina or Brazil.

Fascinating.

But the awesome thing is that they all probably play footie at family get-togethers and world-beaters readily admit their sibling is better than they are.

prince is still overrated other than the screamers he hits once in a while. i guess not overrated since nobody rates him that high, but he's only good for the once-in-a-while spectacular.

still it's the only brother-faceoff I know of on the national level

Dos Santos brothers were once at Barcelona together. Gio had to be a diva and demand more PT...now he's being loaned all over the place. I think Racing de Santander is his latest stop. Jonathan still gets minutes with the first team at Barcelona. Looks like little brother might end up being the better of the two.

He's played like... 5 games this season for the first time. Wouldn't exactly call that "getting minutes."

If the OM lads are happy with that match...just terrible all around. What a waste of time watching that.

WTF was Ranieri thinking, starting Zarate and then subbing in...Obi...??? Leaving Milito and Pazzini on the bench??? Not even using his third substitute??? This team is a disaster.

Basel?!?!? I watched the Inter/Marseille match, so did Basel just hold on and squeak out a goal, or did they play toe-to-toe with Munich? Do they look to have a decent chance for the draw when they make the return?

honestly it wouldnt have even mattered, there is absolutely no midfield. Forlan was only getting long balls and he missed one good chance but there is no connection between the front and back line and although they played like shit I personally would like ranieri to stay because he is a good coach he just needs some better players, or to just get rid of sneijder.
