I sold my car, but the buyer is upset... - Page 7

Yes, it is one of those types of programs, "Troubleshooters" and if it airs, there is a version that gets posted to the website. They never called back. If they did, I was going to speak with them off the record and let them know that I was just a private individual selling a car, and that there is no story here. I figure if I ignore them they might go ahead and assume I have something to hide. But they probably decided it wasn't the type of thing they usually report on: individuals who have issues with companies.

I haven't been more sceptical about a post since a Nigerian prince claimed to be able to enlarge my penis using cheap Viagra in my area.

There is no reason at all that a brand new member needs pictures of that car.

Q. Can you give me advice on my auto related problem?

A. Unfortunately, we are unable to help with certain auto related issues.

It does not say all.

Also, I still fail to see the issue here? Someone suggested that no news agency would care about this. That is just not true. I cited KGO as an example of a news agency that does consumer advocacy, and they do. Even if KGO does not specifically deal with "certain" auto related issues, that does not mean the news agency wherever the OP is from does not. I was simply pointing out that it is quite possible that the OP was, indeed, contacted by a news agency over this and that it would likely be related to consumer advocacy. I stand by that.

The OP has since written: "Yes, it is one of those types of programs, "Troubleshooters" and if it airs, there is a version that gets posted to the website."

lulz.

Whatever. Keep playing the "what if" game, even if it just sounds extremely paranoid and not exactly comforting for a guy who clearly has enough insanity on his plate. I enjoy how you quote him while conveniently leaving out the bit that reinforces the notion that you're the only one who thinks it's slow enough of a news day for local media to care.

Do you sell insurance by chance?

Actually, not quite, dipshit, but thank you for assuming that Americans are allergic to speaking more than one language. Do they still teach tact in Dutch schools? Good for you for "speaking" five different languages, but your mastery of one of my languages reminds me of a quote from "The Simpsons": "Why make 31 flavors when you can't get vanilla right?"

I really have no idea what your problem is nor frankly do I care. I also don't think you have a clue what you are talking about since you have pretty much misstated everything that I said, but it obviously makes you feel better so have at it.

You seem to have a desperate need to be right so I will simply concede all points made to you, whatever they might be, since I do not want to contribute to your dellusions.

And no, I do not sell insurance. I spent four years in the Marine Corps right out of High School at the age of 17, the last of my four year commitment in Iraq, and the last two years since then in college, where I just received dual AS degrees in Physics and Mathematics. I am now on my way to UC Davis on the GI Bill. But all of that is sort of like selling insurance, I suppose (I just want to be sure to maintain the dellusion of your superiority) so you were right again.

Update: TV reporter called, I spoke "off the record" for a few minutes, she got aggressive, I hung up. Called the TV station and they have no one of that name working there. Google search of the phone number revealed a woman from the same small town as the buyer.
