Hey!
I need a pair of low-ish, preferably light brownish quality shoes. I got a pair of wolverine 1000 mile dark brown boots that I use for dark jeans + tweed kind of outfits and I have a pair of plain black dress shoes that I use for suitups (meetings, external stuff etc).
But I have a few light suits and I also have a few blue pants that I like to combine with different stuff.. so I need a pair of lighter boots/shoes for that.
My requirements are:
- preferably below 550-600 USD
- Preferably low shoes, not boots.
- Usable both for suits and for jeans/trousers.
- quality shoes, shoes I'll wear in 2022 at a conference in Somewhereplace.
Suggestions? I've thought about getting some light alden shoes, AE Bradley - but they are a bit dark-ish. Maybe some white's semi dress? the AE Strands are nice, especially in walnut, but not so sure about the perforations.. The AE charlestons are nice, but maybe a bit boring? Maybe just a pair of alden indy classics? But they would not really fit a suit.. (as a few of the above wouldn't either)...
I really like the AE Lubbock, but unsure about how it is for daily use, I would have to resole it with a rubber sole I suspect.
