I noticed tears in the seat of the pants, and I haven't worn them before. Have you guys had experiences like this with SS? Is the Togna wool reliable? I don't want to keep this suit if it tears in 2 months after I get a replacement. It's unfortunate, as the suit fits so well.

I've owned several suit supply suits and frequently wear their trousers weekly and have never once experienced anything like this. You seem to have just been a bit unfortunate. If you like the suit request a replacement for the pants. I will agree with the other member and say not all their suits measure up the same size as they advertise and can be a little off but the quality for me has been good and has lasted.

On another note is anyone willing to proxy?

I'm considering a blue suit and was looking at this one:

But from the photos it looks a little too shiny for my taste.

Is it really that shiny or is it just the photos?

I've seen this one as well, and it doesn't look as shiny, but out of stock in my size:

Thanks for your help

From my experience their suits aren't as shiny in person. The studio lighting is very different from natural lighting and most indoor lighting. If it does turn out to be too shiny, you can always return/exchange it.

I can second this. I have a few Suitsupply suits that get worn very frequently and have never run into this issue. Though I have seen people post similar problems in this thread before, so I'm thinking it must either be the fabric or the fit of the trousers.

Personally I wouldn't risk getting the same suit, as there probably is an issue with the fabric regarding frequent wear, and with the fall/winter pre-order coming up soon you may have more options.

Still no sign of F/W collection? I chatted to a sales rep last week, and they said preorder would be available "by the end of the week".

I still got a bunch of outlet items that I can´t really decide on (mainly a Chicago fit pea coat and a cotton velvet Trento overcoat). They´re pretty nice, but would cost about the same together as regular price overcoat, and I figured that I´ll wait for F/W before deciding to return to see if they´ll offer something that I´d rather have instead.

Nope, I've heard the same from a sales rep too, but it was either the end of this week or next week according to him.

I did see two pictures of their F/W 15 shoot on their Instagram, but they don't really show much at all.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

On the second picture you can take a peek at what's to come by what's on the clothing rack, but then again it's not too much of a preview.

Hope they drop it soon. Papa needs a new suit.

Awesome write-up! Do you happen to have a full-body shot by any chance?

Riton, a member here, is located in France and can serve as a proxy. I ordered a Sienna through him and couldn't be happier.

Hopefully he sees this and responds then!

I tried on the Napoli and Lazio today again at SoHo, and really like the fit of the jackets. However, I am not sure if I am just unfamiliar with this style (second suit), but with the jacket off I feel like my upper body looks really small in comparison. Is it the rise that is causing the problem? According to this picture, it's about a regular rise (just a little below the bellybutton). I am 5'7 and 145 lbs, a senior in college. The BR wool pants I bought a few weeks ago were much lower in the rise, and seems to look much better without the jacket on than SuSu's. Would it be recommendable to ask if the rise of the pants could be lowered, or would it be better to try another cut from another brand?
