yes, there are over the top. But maybe they would look good, if they gave the model the right suit size to wear...
I really do not understand, why they let their models wear too small suits.

Timo, I'm sure you'd be interested...

I'd also be pulling the trigger if I was looking for a double breasted suit.

still waiting/hoping for some flannel suits without batwing lapels to turn up.. I fear it will be a long wait despite what customer support told me. Only flannel so far are a couple of pants..

The DB looks nice bw

new member here...

i've followed this thread for a while and own a few SS suits. Being a tall and lean 44L they fit me far better than most OTR suits I've tried. If anyone has any better slim OTR suggestions, let me know.

Anyway..looking for a plaid suit for the fall/winter, no specific occasion. What are your thoughts on these two?

Welcome to SF. Where will you be wearing these suits? The brown one is very loud to me, and would not be good if you're a CPA in Cincinnati. If you're in marketing in NYC maybe. I think I like it as a sport coat more than a suit.

That blue plaid caught my eye when the F/W goods were announced. It's also louder than your normal rotation but more subdued than that brown. From afar it might just look more standard navy but with texture. It could also serve as an odd jacket.

i work in NY in financial services. I wouldn't wear a plaid suit in front of clients. just occasionally around the office. i agree the brown is too much. As a jacket it might work.

I thought it was just me.
All their models are too big for the suits and they always seem to choose models with enormous hands.
I love some of their suits though and am very happy with the one I own.

Hi guys. Looking at a simple all around suit and came across this one:

http://www.suitsupply.com/suit-navy-plain-napoli-p2778/P2778,en_US,pd.html?start=18&cgid=Suits

Only concern I have is the pants being too slim...has anyone had any issues with returning items?

I have this one.. I love the natural shoulders... the armholes are not as high.. but not low.. the pants are pretty slim but not skinny... works for me... I have a pic of it if you want to see it in action..

That would be fantastic thank you. What size are you? Any chance you could give me a measurement of the thigh of the pants?
