I do have another Napoli from the SS outlet coming in next week at 38L. Guess I'll know soon enough. What sucks is that this current one I have is not listed on the SS store anymore. Really like the color.

I don't think it's short on you at all. Just take a look at this Napoli suit:

I think going one size down would be too tight on your shoulders and chest (and the trousers as well).

They are right that typically sizing down refers to going from one main suit size to another. Not going from a long to a short. Having said that, you might feel a Long adds too much length. It's a hassle, but I would try one just to see how it fits you. If you don't like it compared to the 40R you can always exchange it back.

I can say after purchasing 4 and trying on another 10 that in Napoli and Sienna I am a 36 whereas I am a 38 in other suits -- Boss, Hart Shaffner, Peter Millar...

As I promised, directly from the European Outlet, the San Diego cut with S130 Barbera wool, PoW.

Definitely not CBD nor suitable for every occasion. But I think it's a really funny and creative cut, almost Tom Ford-ish. The fabric is great, and it fits me relatively well right out from the box (only few minor adjustments are needed), so I'm keeping it.

Funny story: after dinner I went to a bar to say hi to a friend, and I decided to wear this one immediately. While everyone there was wearing either a suit or a SC (it was a company event), both my friend and her girlfriends started asking question about the maker, the designer etc. So, in case one of the reasons you dress nicely is to impress girls, take it into account: this suit is a great conversation starter.

(Disclaimer: My friend works for a interior design firm, so people over there are "obsessed" with design, creativity etc. It might not work that well in other contexts.)

Those fatties are off chops. I love it, Sprezz - but definitely not CBD! Still great.

Someone with access to the US web storefront check if they have the navy military-style polyester waterproof coat? Price and size availability? And are the Vegas or Texas stores open yet. (I'm routed to a "foreign" site)

I dig those lapels so much I had to create a picture to adequately express it.

The tie to match the lapels:

lol

I know Tom Ford has 4.5 inch wide ties that would go well with a jacket with lapels like that
