As of right now I just purchase Jackets and the current Jacket selection at the retail prices are not my cup of tea.Too many Havanas fits.

Im patiently waiting until the SS13 collection is on the outlet site

Some real nice stuff.

Silly question, but it seems like a some of their suits have some sort of shine to them. Is it just the lighting the pictures were taken under or are they really like that?

Perhaps the problem is that SS is trying to expand so rapidly that they are having growing pains. There have been multiple store openings, plus still fairly recent into the F/W stock, plus now the outlet that is kind-sorta-not-really open to the broader product. Maybe they weren't quite ready for what they got into.

I don't understand the "JORT" collection. It's just a bunch of different fits labelled "JORT", supposedly better quality than the rest of their stuff.

So what's not to understand?

I don't understand the "Napoli" collection. It's just a bunch of suits labeled "Napoli", supposedly that is Italian but the company is Dutch. lol8[1].gif

It doesn't seem to be very consistent. They've got double breasted Jorts, as well as single breasted Jorts, as well as overcoats and dinner jackets named Jort.

Normally they'd just name it after some place or something, but it'd be consistent, for example Soho fits are only double breasted suits with certain features, Washington suits are only single breasted suits with peak lapels.

The Napoli collection has the same suits/jackets in different materials. I don't see them naming their shirts or overcoats as "Napoli" too though.

Something positive to balance out the recent negative remarks about suitsupply's customer service:

I received an email apologizing that the suit I had ordered from the outlet a while ago was not available anymore. I replied that I was also interested in a different, higher priced suit, and they changed the order to that one straight away, waving the extra costs and with the promise to ship it tomorrow.

I'm as satisfied with this experience as I was with many previous ones, and it certainly proves that suitsupply has some of the best customer service in the business..

They have always been great with me as well....outlet and regular site.

That's good to hear. Hopefully the reason why these delayed shipments and lack of communication is that they weren't prepared to take so many orders too fast and not because they are lowering their customer service standards.

I also ordered a suit from the regular site over two weeks ago and it hasn't shipped yet. It wasn't until today after I contacted them several times that they told me the suit was going to take at least ten more days to arrive from overseas. Again, the problem is not the time shipping a suit from Europe, but that they should've let the customer know of this when placing the order.
