Do SS ship out on Saturdays? And are strong shoulders a bad thing?

Hey all,

Getting my first CBD suit. Does the suitsupply napoli, in dark grey i.e. "faux uni", qualify?

Thank you for advice!!

I like the havana, lazio and london fits. I'm in need of a Navy blue suit for general occasions like wedding, interviews and whatever else.

havana and lazio wears near identical. lazio just has a touch of padding in the shoulder (whereas havana has none)... and the visible difference is that the lazio sleevehead has a touch of roping.
havana = SCs. lazio = suits.

if you like one, you'll like the other

london = no go for me

I like the London because it has a lower buttoning point than other SS suits.

What about the Sienna fit? Any opinion on that?

Yes, that would work.

I purchased 3 blazers to try on - the Paris blue plain linen (Copenhagen fit), Havana blue plain linen and Havana navy plain pure wool. The Paris is way too short and the material flimsy. I love the Havana jackets, but plan to keep only the linen one since I already own a worsted wool blazer.

The Havana jacket fits great (38R) with the exception of the sleeves. I need to have about 1" taken off, which means shortening from the shoulder due to the functioning buttonholes.

Has anyone had a Havana jacket altered this way successfully? Any advice before I bring it to the tailor?

I ordered suit supply there were no custom charges. However  I wasn't happy with the fitting. Had to pay a visit to Magic Tailor in Toronto

I picked up 2 suites (last season), 2 jackets and 5 belts for €285 in their retail outlet in Roermond. Pics to come shortly.. Full retail would have set me back €1175...

No sarcasm there (rolls eyes)

For those of you with Napoli suits, have you noticed any puckering like I have on the front side of my left shoulder? I just noticed this today. It's right where the fabric starts to roll off the roping. I wonder if I just need to get the suit pressed, or if this has always been there and I missed it. Maybe it has a little La Spalla to it. For the record, I bought this suit around Feb 2012 and wear it about once a week or every other week.

It looks like a wrinkle.

EDIT:

I just went to the SS site. I'm not familiar with the brand, but from what I saw/read, my guess is that most of the suits are fused. The $999 suit says that it's fully-canvassed.

Thoughts? How do you know?

All suits and jackets are half-canvas, only the La Spalla is full canvas.
