Yep. Huge and rounded lapels, an afterthought of a shoulder and - ugh - ticket pockets on top of everything.

Perhaps a photo of somebody wearing one would change my mind but I won't be rushing to try one out. Maybe if there's one in store next time I'm there I'll throw on the jacket for a look-see.

ugh... i finally decided to pull the trigger on one of these suits and i realized after refreshing that my size was gone... (in a matter of 3 hours! frown.gif)

would it be better to try calling a store to order or am i SOL?

The name San Diego makes no sense for that style as well.

I quite like it on this picture, I must say.
Personally, I would tuck the flap-pockets, they just look too massive for my eye.

Does indeed look better there. I think the model's overly tight jacket on the product page causes lapel bowing that over-exaggerates the whole business. Still not my cup of tea though.

Agreed, it looks a lot better like that. You're right about the flaps, they're absurd. It's exaggerated by the ticket pocket.

So I need another navy suit for work, I'm considering:

Napoli navy
http://eu.suitsupply.com/suits/suit-navy-plain-napoli-p2778/P2778,en,pd.html?start=15&cgid=Suits&prefn1=color&prefv1=Blue

Sevilla blue
http://eu.suitsupply.com/suits/suit-blue-plain-sevilla-p3476/P3476,en,pd.html?start=17&cgid=Suits&prefn1=color&prefv1=Blue

York blue
http://eu.suitsupply.com/suits/suit-blue-plain-york-p2529/P2529,en,pd.html?start=24&cgid=Suits&prefn1=color&prefv1=Blue

How is the fabric on the napoli? In the pictures it looks like it has a sheen to it, almost looks shiny?

Otherwise I'm looking for something with soft shoulder and little padding.

none of your choices has soft shoulders. They all are the most padded models of Suitsupply.

Get a Sienna, best value out there IMHO

I see, what is the extra 100 euro paying for? Better fabrics or better construction as well?

As I understand it's just the fabrics (higher super numbers available, for example) and "hand-finished details".

I really wish the Sienna didn't have a ticket pocket or I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

the fabrics are of higher quality and the construction is also better. Shoulders a sewn by hand, the collar also attached by hand.

I own the La Spalla, SOHO, Lazio, Havana & Sienna. Of course the La Spalla is again better quality than the Sienna, but Sienna offers the best value per €

That model has the narrow end of the tie actually tucked in between the tie blade and the jacket O_o

Just bought a Sienna and a Washington suit for €75 each. Not a bad deal, I'd say.
