I kind of like the new glen plaid Soho, but I can't justify buying it. I doubt I'd have many occasions to wear it.

I'm hoping that it'll end up in the outlet.

Maybe I can go to Roermond soon.
Will buy a bunch of stuff there and proxy to all you guys!

This store has way too many Washington cut items and they also put some of their best patterns on non-versatile articles.

It's pretty frustrating to observe.

Pro-tip: ask them if they have any jackets for €29, they usually have a couple in the back. Some have hideous patterns, but if you're lucky you'll find something nice! I even found a nice glen plaid suit for €99 last time, but unfortunately the trousers were a little too small.

Maybe I am moving back to Duesseldorf soon. Surely I then will visit Roermond every weekend or so ;-)

I hope that's not the only reason why you're considering to move ;) Sadly I'm moving to London in a few weeks, so no more outlet for me.

Sounds promising - although I will miss your photos from Vienna

I bought a suit and tux from IC a few years back. While I was one of the lucky ones that had a decent experience without remakes, that suit has been slowly moving down the pecking order. Materials are (were) so-so, craftmanship is so-so. It's been nearly 3 years and I have not even thought of going back.

SS's own MTM program will probably give you better results. Or look at people like Kent Wang or Proper Suit. If you're looking for tailors in NYC then you obviously have access to tons of well regarded folks.

Thank again for the advice. Since I couldn't find a thread dedicated to Proper Suit, I will just state my question here, hopefully people having experience with Proper Suit can shed some insights. Does Proper Suit accommodate your request regarding the style of the pant or do they just help you with the measurement? In particular, I need my pant to have the skinny cut closest to the body (not just slim cut like most of suits at SS have). Can Proper Suit help me with that or do I need a bespoken tailor? Thanks

Missed this one in 42L. Now can't find it anywhere. One of the nicest Siennas I've seen.

Do they ever restock items?

YES! Would love that!

Only just noticed that the lapel buttonhole on my Copenhagen jacket is sewn up. Seems odd that this would be the case considering that they went to the trouble of working cuff buttons.
