This was recently added. Decent?

http://eu.suitsupply.com/en_SE/jackets/madison-blue-plain/C711.html?start=6&cgid=Jackets

Is there really that big of a difference between the lapel width of the two fits?
Well, that jacket is only available on the EU website, and I only proxy must-have items. Also, it turns out I have seen that jacket at the Stanley Korshak shop-in-shop in Dallas. It is definitely a seasonal jacket with a fall winter weight and a fuzzier hand. I'm holding out for a 3-4 season navy hopsack or similar.

Regularly out of stock. Maybe they should do something, at least for the basics. I mean this navy wool coat, went out in 2 weeks ... Hey you suitsupply people: We are not always with a credit card on the hand, ready to shoot!

Does anyone here trust the SS size advisor? For a Havana it suggest 98, but 114 for a Napoli!!! Crazy.

Considering doing the Suit Up personal tailoring. Anyone have a comment as to whether it's worth it or not? Seems very affordable to be able to do a fully canvassed MTM for under 1,000.

@timotune should be able to speak to it, he's commissioned multiple items. On that note, do they allow you to adjust the pant fit or add pleats, timo? I haven't tried the pants on each different suit style, but the Lazio and York pants fit very slim and I would love to be able to get them with extra room in the seat.

I think I'm going to be trying it out early 2015 or so.

Will be getting a casual-ish suit with these specs:

  • Natural pleated shoulders
  • 3-roll-2 jacket
  • 5 functional cuff buttons
  • Wide peak lapels
  • 3 patch pockets (side and breast pocket)
  • Side vents
  • No belt loops on trousers
  • Side adjusters + braces buttons
  • Perhaps a 1.5 inch cuff on the trousers

Basically Tom Ford/Washington fit style options, but without the heavily padded shoulders.

Not sure how it'll turn out, anyone got any advice on these specs, as well as any fabric/pattern suggestions?

Thinking of a dark or medium colour fabric for all seasons.

This will be a suit to be worn outside of the workplace, and I'll probably wear the jacket separately at times.

Do you guys see any stripes here?

Suits_Blue_Birds_Eye_Havana_P3689_Suitsupply_Online_Store_2.jpg

I ordered that and got this:

400

Product number is the same. However, online the price is 499, but the tag on my received suit is 469. Very confusing...did I get the wrong product or just poor product pictures?

The suit in question is this blue Birdseye, which I thought was solid:

just took a flyer on the new "fishtail" trousers

http://eu.suitsupply.com/en/trousers/grey-fishtail-trousers/B377.html?vpid=B37706

bought them and also bought this coat here

http://eu.suitsupply.com/en/coats/navy-overcoat/J296.html?start=1&q=J29607

both in size (euro) 52 (I wear 102 in SS suits and jackets, previously worn 98).

will give a review on both items once they arrive.

I'm very interested to see your review of the fishtail trousers. I recently ordered the "Oak" fit side-tab trousers which come with brace buttons, but I find that they still aren't cut quite high enough in the back to make the braces comfortable.
