Can anyone figure out which coat is the model at the top of Outerwear wearing? (In the banner at the top of the section) http://us.suitsupply.com/en_US/coats

It might not be for sale but I am in love with the texture. It's kind of brown-beige-burgundy colorwise

Thank you! I noticed that too.

I, personally think Lazio is a great compromise between fit, quality and price.

You can also try a Sienna which has a natural shoulder and it's cheaper than La Spalla, or the Havana if you can get away with a "not so formal" suit.

Thank you. I think I will order the Lazio in couple of different sizes and try as I don't have broad shoulders. Are the size charts on the website accurate?

Also, how are the button and arm hole positioning between the two models?

Thanks for the tip on Sienna. I prefer without ticket pocket.

No problem. The shoulder measurement is not that off. I go for a 45cm shoulder to shoulder, which is a size 38US/48EU. That one fitting well, everything else goes to place. Ask for someone to measure you and go from there.

I'm pleased with armhole positioning, which is high and very comfortable, in my opinion.

The button positioning, in my opinion is "low", which I like. For the Lazio the button is almost on top of my navel, or 1- 1,5cm above. On this topic opinions differ, as you probably already have noticed.

Trousers are currently off being hemmed, but here's a quick pic:

Which Washington is this? Can you link me.

Anybody have thoughts on how to fix the pocket flare on one of my Havanas? The jacket fits me like a dream, but the pants are pretty much unwearable. I should ask to take out the hips/seat, I presume?

Almost certainly.

It never hurts to post photos in the Tailor's thread, however.

Cheers,

Since this thread gets people from all over I wanted to remind anyone who will be in the Bay Area this Thursday that we are having a Styleforum X Suitsupply Meetup at the San Francisco store from 6-8pm. Hope that you can join us.

For a minute, I thought you were asking about jacket patch pockets which sometimes flare out after you take the thread out that's there when you receive it new. I notice it mostly happens 1) on very unstructured jackets with minimal lining, 2) if you put a rather heavy object in one of the pockets (like an iPad mini which fits perfectly in a Havana pocket).

I'm planning on buying my first pair of flannel trousers(mainly worn casually), and I've been looking at Suitsupply http://eu.suitsupply.com/sv/trousers/byxor-gra/B717.html?cgid=Trousers&prefn1=collection&prefv1=Fall%2fWinter&prefn2=materialID&prefv2=Ull. Does anyone here have flannel trousers from Susu? Would be nice to hear what you think about them. Are there any other options that are good, and perhaps cheaper?

I need to pick up couple of suits in staple colors, and am leaning towards SS Purple Label. I need to decide between Lazio and Napoli. Which one of theae offers less padded shoulders? If I remember correctly from my last visit to the store, Napoli had significant amount of padding. i tried on the La Spalla and I really liked the natural shoulders, but I do not want to dish out $1k for a suit.

Thanks!

Both are lightly padded. The Lazio has a much softer chest canvas than the Napoli, however. This gives the Lazio a less structured look.

Nothing that I was recently shown in the San Francisco store meets the true definition of
"natural shoulder" In fact, t when I showed the salesman the old Belvest sport coat I came in
with, he was surprised that the shoulders had virtually no padding.

Has any of you guys ordered, or seen in real life, this?

If yes, how is the pattern and the cloth?

Just pulled the trigger on it. This thing is selling like hotcakes. It's low/sold out in a lot of sizes already!
