Actually I've got 2 rather nice suits (which are non-standard enough not to buy them at full retail) and a linen jacket from the outlet. I think it depended largely on your size.

Today I've worn my new Napoli the first time. I'm not sure if I prefer the fit of Napoli or Lazio but the problem is that Lazio is only available in fancy patterns instead of staple colors and personally I'm completely adverse to ticket pockets. Seeing that a one day bus trip to Milano only costs 45 € from where I live, I'm considering giving their MTM program a try, I just can't get a really good fit from OTR trousers. Timotune's MTM suit looks rather good to me.

Will probably post comparison pics tonight how unaltered Lazio, Napoli, Washington, Havana and Soho fit me (176cm, 70kg).

Also most of the SS staff I have encountered prefer to wear suits/jackets a size too small...

Yep. In hindsight, I am very happy that when I walked into the Denver SS store I got paired up with the one SA in his 40's, rather than one of the 6' tall 23-yr-old guys in a 36S.

I just got back from SS store on Lime St where I have seen the new Hudson style jacket in Navy plain wool/silk/cashmere blend by EThomas. I ordered it online and it arrived today - just need to alter the sleeves.
To give you some feedback on the fabric and the jacket. It is really lovely! Very similar in fit to Havana, pleated shoulders are very nicely done. I had a feeling that maybe the buttoning point is slightly lower than in Havana but until I got it at home (next week) I can't really compare.
Anyway, fabric is amazing, very soft, with a bit of texture. It should be one of the most popular models this season. I was waiting for a classic jacket like this for months.

Hello everyone,

....

While I was waiting for my suit, I notice the photo for my suit showing a VBC Revenge 140's but the fabric info says VBC 130's. I gave them a email and they quickly took down the discrepancies. I've also let them know there were other similar mistakes and it seen like no photos indicating the thread count is visible. But the photo is still in their server just not on the website: http://statics.suitsupply.com/image...ye_Sienna_P2445_Suitsupply_Online_Store_4.jpg

The fabric looks great, feels great. Should I be concern about it? No but I like to know why the differences.

Are you seriously worried about S140 vs S130??? Let's say if it was S130, what would you do then? BTW, I loved the way SA at SS Toronto store provides services so far.

MilanoStyle,

The service was great. John was really helpful and shared much of his expertise.

I actually prefer 130's but that not my question. My question is why are there labels with thread counts and some don't?

I have one of them, from the 79€ range. It's nice. It wrinkles, but not as much as pure linen, and it feels nice and soft.

Got a 40L Lazio fit suit today in the mail. However, I am a bit disappointed as the jacket length measures about .6 inches longer than the online measurements say it should. I think this makes the jack a bit too long for me, especially if I was going to wear it as an odd jacket, which I was planning on. Thoughts?

Too bad because otherwise it fits very well OTR.

Yup, absolutely terrible. Looks like a zootsuit or an overcoat, or like you were a five-year old boy trying on daddy's suit jacket.

Just kidding. I don't see how it being 15 mm (that's what 0.6 inches converts to, right?) longer than you expected could even be an issue. If you insist on it, I expect shortening by that amount shouldn't be much of a problem for a tailor.

BTW, I'm sure somebody here will tell you not to use it as an odd jacket, but most people in the real world wouldn't notice or care.

perfect length man, just not too casual, will work with a roomier pants than the pair you're wearing

Jacket is tight in the chest, tight across your shoulder blades and tight around your hips. It also has a short front balance. Size up or just abandon the cut. It's not too long at all and verging on short.

Kulata, I don't think the creases in the upper back are caused by shoulder blade tightness, but clearly from a high left/low right shoulder imbalance. What do you think?
