JHT652 - agreed, my first thought was to order the next size down to compare. Don't return one until you check both. But I feel you may like the shoulders on the 42 and maybe less alternations.

Regarding the outlet, the Dutch site seemed to still have a bunch of really old stuff, back when SS was a little guido-y in its styling. Plus I saw items that I saw on the outlet last time, like those bright colored Washington SCs. I'd rather they wait another 6 months and include some 2013 stuff.

Here is an unaltered 40R Havana.

Can the jacket from the Havana traveler suit in blue work on its own? It has patch pockets. Trying to decide btw the suit and the Havana blazer in navy. Thanks

I'm 6'1" 185lbs and am happy with a 40R. I think my arms are average?

Has anyone had experience with their Blue Line or Suit Up Tailoring service?

If I get their OTR suits I would need some additional tailoring done anyways, at which point at only $650 to $750, it may make more sense to get MTM. Any thoughts?

Quote:The outcome in his case is quite poor, imho. Suitsupply MTM can do a lot better, really. You might want to search this thread, there have been a few posts on this, also picutres.
Agreed. Seems like he didn't ask them to fix the two basic issues with all SS designs: high button point and gorge creeping to the shoulders.

Yeah, but the overall fit is also disappointing (jacket too tight around the waist, trousers too tight and too long...) and he asked for super-skinny lapels. Unfortunately, they won't let you change the height of the gorge, afaik (one of the reasons I probably wouldn't place an order).

He had some of the issues corrected such as the waist and pants but overall my Napoli fits better with minor adjustments that his did. Granted the guy did get some ridiculously small size.

Yeah the sizing I got is smaller than the Napoli and Lazio 32. Its probably about a 31.

I did get the pants hemmed up a bit more and I had the jacket let out. I just haven't had time to reshoot with new photos (my photographer is in Japan right now).

Looking back I should have went with the standard SS lapels because mine are slightly too skinny even for my frame.

Also yeah they won't let you change the lapel gorge at all.

Can anyone comment on the quality of Suitsupply's socks (http://us.suitsupply.com/en_US/socks)? I really like some of these designs, and they seem to be priced fairly, but was hoping to see if anyone has a sense of their quality. Google and forum searches came up empty - hoping someone here knows. Thanks in advance!

I ordered a 5-pack yesterday. I can comment on the quality when they arrive.

Not the best. They get holes in them after 2-3 wears.
