I own the suit above. Get several compliments on it every time I wear it. Honestly have never worn it as a 3 piece though. Just as a 2 piece or a jacket alone. Love the fabric and color!

Not sure if I'll wear the whole thing together either. Definitely see myself wearing it as a 2 piece more and as separates. Mind sharing a pic?

You'll look like Obi Wan if you wore the 3 piece.

I've seen them in-store, they aren't the best quality for price.

Try Meermin Mallorca, they do similar styles at cheaper prices, but with better quality and construction.

I recommend looking into the different lasts first and how they'll fit your shoe size as I hear returns can be a hassle, though I haven't had that problem myself, as I just wear my regular shoe size for all 4 lasts I own.

Their Elton last for monk straps look far more elegant than the Suitsupply monk straps IMO.

Yes, I've been tempted by meermin. Perhaps I will nab a pair. Any model recommendations? Also, would you care to PM me any shoe care advice (what products to use)? That would be extremely helpful. I want to get a fair few shoes, and will need shoe trees and proper things to care for them.

Hi guys, has anyone done a MTO sport coat with SS and any advice or thoughts to share? My navy blazer has pretty much worn out, so am looking to get a new one. Given it's pretty much the most fundamental part of the wardrobe as I have been wearing it all seasons day in and day out, I'm thinking I should spend a good amount of dosh to have an MTO done, especially given most RTW jackets are too long for me. Want to get some interesting fabrics that I know SS have, though something that can be worn for most of the year.

I'm in London btw.

At tailor. Letting out jacket just a tad, moving button placement on waistcoat and hem and take in waist on trousers.

This was the biggest heartbreak of the outlet for me. I loved the suit when it was in the full line, but it was taken off of the site too quick. When I logged on to the outlet after work I saw this and my heart skipped, but, sadly, it was already gone in 40 and 42! I'm glad to see pics of it irl.

@riton You mentioned on your proxy page there will be a 2015 SS Summer Sale during the January 2016? Does this refer to the European sale?

There were a European SS outlet in January 2015 and July 2015. I assumed it would be the same in 2016.

SS told me no plans.
