You may have to wait until next season for a plain navy Sienna. I own two Sienna's: solid blue and solid medium/darkish grey. The details are more conservative, yet the fully canvassed jackets are more shapely while not being tight leading to a far cleaner drape, and the more natural shoulder of the Sienna looks much better IMO as a staple suit for slimmer builds.

I don't think the Sienna is fully canvassed, that is reserved for the La Spalla/Jort line. Some might say the Sienna's ticket pocket makes it less conservative than for example the Napoli or Lazio

I ended up with the York, and I'm happy with it. I found the Sienna to be too... round somehow. It's like the Volkswagen Beetle of suits. The shoulders are nice, though.

The Napoli would have been fine for me as well, you really can't go wrong with either as long as you like the colour.

I have the same one. It's a true summer linen jacket. If you want something more year-round, don't get this. This one goes brilliantly with summer shades: white, cream, blues of every kind, warm colours and also some acidic/tropical shades. It's really nice. I wouldn't get it as my only jacket, but I do prefer it to my dark brown SS summer jacket (this one).

Regarding the versatility in my opinion it's similar to standard brown version. If you want to get the most versatile jacket you can - plain blue will be the best option for this purpose. Ask Italians

Thanks for the feedback guys, sounds quite versatile from what you are saying. I have a navy sports coat already so it won't be my only odd jacket. I might just add a bit more to the basket so I can get the free returns as backup.

oops you're right, it's still only half canvas

regardless, the cleaner drape, softer shoulder line, and longer length jacket as compared to the tight and cropped napoli or lazio put it more on the conservative side despite the ticket pocket

I saw a new plain blue Sienna for pre-order on the US website:

If I had to go for any suit from Suitsupply (Excluding the Washington & Soho), it would be the Sienna.

Excluding online MTM, is there consensus that Suitsupply is of good value and quality at the $500-1000 MTM price range? Are there any other MTM (not online) that would be even better in this range (e.g., not made in China)?

Although many small, start-up MTM companies in my City offer a starting price of $500, I am wary about them…is the ~$900 for Suitsupply a justified mark-up (for styling, quality control, expertise, etc.), or am I just paying for branding?

You're definitely not paying for branding. Their MtM is good if you exactly know what you want and how a suit is supposed to fit, and are not afraid to voice it. Otherwise, you'd probably be better off by going to a long standing reputable local tailor, but not to a local startup, because they probably don't know what they're doing.

Might be paying for branding... couldn't have been cheap getting the sponsorship for the Dutch Olympic team!

Their OTR is simply fantastic value if you can find your fit!
