Do they have alteration there or do you have to bring it else where?

They have tailors in store.  I've heard a few cases, on here, of in store tailors not listening to clients and the stuff coming out too tight.

You just have to stand your ground and tell them to take their highwater pants and corset-wearing asses to someone else.

The trick is to find the SA who is dressed the least ridiculous in the store and explain to him what you want right off the bat.

A quick question for all SS-guys who've had their jackets let out: how much seam allowance does SuitSupply leave inside their jackets? Mine fit well now, but if I manage to gain five kilos or more, I'm wondering if these can be let out without trouble.

About 2-3cm in the side seams.

I'm a little concerned that you feel there may be an upcoming 11 pound weight gain in your life.  I hope your not making bad decisions.

I think you misread into what he meant by managing to gain weight. It's hardly making a bad decision to want to build a better physique.

Or maybe he just knows he'll gain a couple of extra pounds over the upcoming Christmas and Year End festivities, like I do. No biggie there!

I thought when he said let out he meant his belly might be getting bigger.  Not much you can do if your shoulders and chest become to big for your size.  I don't know if adding 10 pounds is enough to change a whole size though.

Anyone seen the jort double breasted overcoat in person and care to comment on what they thought?

...when I get new stuff, I intend to wear it until said stuff frays entirely or just implodes -- that is, if I don't gain too much weight in the coming decades.

Alright, 2-3 cm to let on both sides at the back is enough to keep me satisfied. Thanks!

Anyone going for the Jort Survival Bag?

It is.  And Jort is so strange.  I guess he's a big celebrity in the Netherlands.

I don't find him strange, because he seems like a complete stereotype tbh :)
