Just getting some final adjustments made to a new mtm suit in vitale barber s110's wool.

Peak lapel with jetted hacking pockets, interesting stylistic choice.

I don't work in a conservative office, in fact I'm wearing sweatpants at work right now.

I was just making a statement. I have never seen a suit with that combination, inasmuch as jetted pockets are pure city and hacking pockets are a remnant of country wear. What brought you to combine the two?

I just thought they'd look interesting, I'll post some pictures of the suit being worn once the final adjustments are made smile.gif

That midnight blue color is always nice as an option to black. Depends on your complexion, as always. If you're a pasty Anglo, go blue. If you're Latin or Asian, go black.

@Chulillo and others with muscular physiques: How do the models with structure/padding in shoulders fit for you?  In particular, I'm curious about the Lazio and Washington.  The Havana's natural shoulders work perfectly for me but I'm curious about venturing into other models.

I love how the Washington suits me... I can't say about Havana because I don't own any. I have Washingon, Soho and Christopher (this one was very structured as well) and I love them all... I posted a picture with one of my Washington jackets a couple of weeks ago, don't know if you got to see it.

I don't completely agree. A midnight blue when you are tan (in summer nights, for example) looks great. Don't nee to be really pale to pull it off nicely. I agree that people with fair skin look good with blue.

Thanks @Chulillo! I'll take a look at the picture from a couple of weeks ago.  I've had minimal luck across many makers of more structured shoulders so I may stop by a store in NY and try out a few models.

All I can say is I love both my Jorts, yet to try a La Spalla. So I'm no help.

I purchased both, so I can help you. Both are ss150. But in my humble opinion, la spalla looks more delicate. E Thomas ss150 cloth has more bright than vbc cloth, which looks better. Also, the Jort has patch pockets and la spalla doesn't. Personally, I'll go for the jort

Can you compare the fit in the shoulders?
