Looks great!  Is that a Hudson from this F/W?

Also, does anyone have experience with the Brentwood trousers and can speak to fit or construction?

Hello
The suit i ordered arrived today.I am not sure if it is only me, do you guys find the lapel of suitsupply suit (purple line for example lazio) looking very stiff?
It doesn't have the very nice rolled lapel and when i turn the lapel over, i can clearly see the folding line behind. Does that applies to your suit as well? Is that a sign of dropping quality?:dozingoff:
Appreciate the answers.
Thanks

If anyone is selling anything size 36, happy to take a look! Would like to purchase some suiting or outerwear.

Thanks!

The burgundy pure cashmere overcoat is pretty sexy.

I like the more colorful overcoat, that's about it. Wish they had more jackets. If any one wants to get rid of past season jorts in a 34r, I'll buy...

I was holding out for the Jort line to come out. Not as strong as the S/S line IMHO. I may pick up that brown Hudson suit and wear the jacket with odd trousers on occasion with the money I'm saving from not Jort-ing out this time, it looks pretty versatile.

As beautiful as I think the colorful overcoat is, it's hard to picture myself being taken seriously by others while wearing it.

I really like the newer brown Hudson.  I've been on the fence about a flannel suit for a while.  I'm afraid it would be a wasteful purchase, living in a warmer climate.  However, if I were to buy one, that one would receive strong consideration.

That's the very reason I didn't buy it.

"Jorting" is probably something that you wouldn't want to do in your trousers.

Brown flannel screams fall/winter to me. One of the many disadvantages of living in temperate climate is that you can't wear these amazing fabrics.

Ya, Boston is far too warm for such fabrics...same with cashmere...you should probably just sent that YH you beat me to over my way to preserve functionality of it :smarmy:

It can get into the thirties here.  You just have to stay up until about 2 am.  If you're up, it's the perfect time to throw on that flannel suit you've been waiting to wear.

Seriously though, we have days that don't get out of the fifties.  There's just not enough of them to invest heavily in winter garments.

i know it's kind of strange question, but can somebody help me on this decision : the newest brown Hudson vs Brown La Spalla birds eye? Purpose is the best possible style. My job dress-code allows me any of those 2, I work as a Real Estate Consultant. I worry that the Hudson is too "cinnamonish", plus I just love La Spalla's cut and spalla- Camicia shoulder, but on the other hand patch pockets seem to my eyes a better choice for a brown suit, plus the fact that it's almost half the price. What do you guys think ?

I personally like the La Spalla more. It's a beautiful full canvassed suit and a bit more professional with flap pockets. The Hudson is nice but definitely looks more casual and seems like a suit I would wear a lot more separate. Plus the Hudson's higher button stance makes me never want to button it. Just my opinion.
