I am a pretty big guy I think..(6'9 230 lbs) and I fit pretty welll in 44L in most of their options.. the only ones I have to size up on are the Washington and Coppenhagen..I think most of their stuff fits true to size..oh and I size down on a Napoli..

Napoli fits me well. I can't size up in anything else because the pants waist becomes way too big. I already shave off 2 inches in the waist of the Napoli trousers.

Copying and pasting from the introduction thread:

How's it going guys, new here. I have been lurking in the Suitsupply thread seeing what you guys talk about and I have to say you all are very knowledgeable about fits and fabrics. I'm pretty impressed.

I work at the Soho store, so seeing what you guys talk about is interesting to me.  If any of you have specific questions about the product, a fit, etc please let me know or shoot me a PM with the question.

I'll most likely be focused on the Suitsupply thread, but may make my way around the rest of the forum as well.

Thanks dudes

@brnrth

Can you tell me when this waistcoat will be released?  The guy on Facebook gave me a product code, which is as of now useless.

Glad to have an "insider" among us.  I sure wouldn't want to be the suitsupply employee on this forum, though.  If you're active you will probably be bombarded with questions.

Hard to say when it will be released, we don't have this one in yet. We were the first store with the new collection, however with anything we don't know when it will hit stores, until we get it. Same goes for anything, like that windowpane Lazio I have never seen before, but looks awesome! I might have to get one for myself once it hits stores so I can see the fabric.

Sorry I couldn't be more help for you, but I'll look out for you

This windowpane lazio, which appears to flannel is gorgeous.

Same for this flannel check lazio.

This brown flannel hudson really does it for me as well.

It's not fair that none of these work for me.  I really like the way flannel suits look.

Hi brnrth,

Those three suits, are they flannels? Are they suitable with warmer weather (like Los Angeles)? Let's say 70 - 80 degree weather.

Hey man,

We don't have any of these in, but by the looks of them they look to be flannel wool, so I might not recommend for LA type weather. Maybe at night, I heard it gets cooler then.

The two Lazios are new, the Hudson is from last F/W, although I don't believe we've gotten either Lazio in yet

EDIT: P4743, the glen plaid says it's flannel wool in the description

"and carries a subtle, yet noticeable, glen check pattern—all in a soft, warm pure wool flannel by Vitale Barberis Canonico."

I'm a little new to this thread and suit buying in general (I do lurk tho). After some looking around I realized that suit supply was a good option in my price range. So I went to the Soho store and asked them for a navy blue suit and ended up with the Napoli 46L (Im 6"4 240). All I had done was alterations to the pants as the jacket fit well in the store. But when I received the suit I realized that the jacket had the vents and wrists closed with red thread. Once I removed the red thread on the vents the suit was a lot less tailored around the midsection but more comfortable in the arms. All in all good, but I just wanted to get your opinions on the fit and whether I should bring it to a tailor or consider a different size next time.

Actually now that I look at the pictures it was too tight before. Well here are the pics:

I got this Lazio . Not flannel but vbc winner fabric. Mine a bit more formal. Fabric however isn't the greatest- a bit rough hand.

@Lakersfan24 I don't think you need a different size, the suit looks like it's the right size. Your right arm looks to hang lower than your left. If showing a little more shirt cuff on the right vs. the left is okay with you, then I think the sleeve length is fine. There is a little bit of roll in the fabric in the back of the neck. That can be removed with an alteration, however I don't think it's one that absolutely needs to be done. If you don't like the appearance it can be done, if it doesn't bother you I think you're fine.

Overall the suit fits well, 46L is a good size for you!

As far as removing the base stitching from the jacket, that shouldn't make much if any difference in the silhouette of the jacket.

I really love the look of this suit, but I do agree with you, the fabric isn't the greatest. Quite a handsome suit though, I think you'll enjoy it

I know for sure the bottom two are flannels.  It shows the label on the website and both say vbc woolen flannel.  The windowpane lazio doesn't say that it is flannel, but it looks like it has to be.

I don't have any flannel suits.  But I imagine there is probably only one or two days a year you could wear a flannel suit here.

I'm keeping a eye out for that waistcoat since my size is incredibly competitive and I really want it.

If it pops up on the site I'll let you know, though they seem to be releasing stuff certain stuff on the US site before the UK/EU site, and vice versa.
