Would like to hear a thought on this suit .. Thinking of pulling the trigger, but didn't have the Brown suit so far. I understand it would be strictly limited to a Fall/Winter season use due to a colour and a Flannel like texture ..

I got a question... is the Napoli fit for those that have broad shoulders or more of a narrow shoulders? Also what about Lazio? Is the Napoli fit basically similar to the Lazio fit?

I have broad shoulder if that matters, v-taper.

Napoli would likely be better. Lazio may fit if you size up. Just note the trousers. Generally, a 40R Napoli will have the same trouser fit as a 40R Lazio. I'm a 40R Napoli, but have a 33'' waist. The 40R Napoli has a 35'' waist. I can't jump up to a 42R Napoli because the trousers will be too big.

What does everyone think of the new La Spalla?  It makes me wish I lived in a colder climate.  The wool/cashmere blends are not ideal in Los Angeles.

I really like it. Limited use in a conservative office, but for private wear I think it looks great, and could easily be split up for different combinations.

Hi guys!

Can anyone comment on 110's Wool vs Reda 'Pure Wool'?

I am seeing one of the fabric options is Reda Pure Wool. I am used to seeing thread count style such as 110 etc.

Is this Reda stuff ok material? Would appreciate any thoughts, suggestions, experiences.

 Thanks guys

I'd comment on general quality of their fabrics: Not impressive!
Before you spend 700+ on one of their creations, swing by good men's store and check out quality fabrics to get the baseline right.
I know I did and was shocked at how my perception of their suit's value changed.
Then I went to Yoox and bought 2 suits made from Loro Piana Wool for less than what one SS rag would cost.

Can you explain what you didn't like about their fabrics? Why, exactly, are they so unimpressive?

I've been happy with all suitsupply fabrics I've purchased.  Reda is a quality mill.  I wouldn't worry about the super number.  If you don't like the wool, you can send the suit back.

Impossible to explain something over the internet. Wear your best SS suit to the good men's store, or if you not near one swing by Sacks5th Ave, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Barney's, Luis of Boston, Mendel, whatever is available in your locale and then directly compare suits from good makers to yours. If all fails go to your nearest Ralph Lauren store and ask to see Black label suits. You will know instantly the difference in fabric quality.
