Did you alter the measurements of the front & back of jacket?
I did - I increased the front and back length by the same amount but that's not what I received.

I used the same measurements for my previous custom jackets and they turned out fine, so not sure what happened with this one - hopefully just a one-off but you never know given the recent feedback..

As an aside, I would say the length inputs are a little confusing. The back length (called "jacket length") is a standard input whilst the front length is an "advanced" option. However, if you alter the back length, it doesn't automatically update the front length in the tool, which seems odd to me (if you only changed the back length and not the front length, that would surely create an uneven hem).

Maybe someone else can weigh in on that?

But the fit was good?
Yes it was. I was very happy with the fit, mind you I did have measurements taken back 3 years ago when I got my last MTM suit from them, and I asked them to work from those exact same measurements.

They'll shrink
Yep, probably. I made this mistake with a pair of cotton trousers from Cavour. Cloth is perfectly fine as you would expect, and even the lining is, but they definitely shrunk enough that I eventually had to alter the waist to make up for the reduced rise. Not recommended.
I tried a similar pair of Firenze trousers and liked the fit, but decided against them precisely because of the dry clean tag.

I just returned an order a week ago for this exact reason. I modified the jacket length and front length equally as to ensure proportions would be correct. When I received it, it looked very out of balance and as if there was no difference in front and back length.

Perhaps its not a coincidence then.. pretty concerning if they’ve changed the model such that it can no longer deal with length adjustments

Anyone have recommendations for who is the best fitter in NYC? Most of the staff when I walked in really had no idea about proper fit/proportions.

Has anyone bought a pair of suitsupply's Jules jeans ? how do they fit?
Bit tight on the thighs, so had to size up to a 33. Making it a bit loose on the waist but overall fits nice.

33/32 at 83kg and 1,90cm

Could shoot a few pics somewhere this week if needed.

Sweet, I am 75kg 173cm tall and bought size 31/32 and 32/32 hope it fits but I do need them hemmed.
Coming from Nudie jeans I am ready to graduate from Skinny Jeans XD.

Imo they were still a fair bit slim fit for me. But I like them to be fitted, the current relaxed fit is not for me.

They arrived today, fit and finish is really good but the inseam for my size was way too long put against the larger sizes.

Thankfully they offer free returns.
