pants came yesterday...i ordered a 34R...first impression...these things mustve been made for manut bol. Im 6'2" and was worried the regular length would be too short.... The inseam is 37". fabric is decent enough for cotton. however, they look more cream than white to me. my wife says theyre white...but she married me so her eyesight must be ****. construction seems decent as well. similar to mabitex. Kinda pissed because one of the buttons is hanging on by a thread and ill have to resew that on too. For $130, and pre-hemmed regular length, i expected to be able to wear them today. no dice. now i have to pay $20 more to have them hemmed to a wearable length. plus 8 bucks for a resewn button if im too lazy to do it myself.
now, had they been shipped and been wearable out of the box, i wouldve been happy...happier. but i think $160 for mediocre cotton trousers is stupid.

Were they truly prehemmed, or with some sort of sewn on band on the inside? The first suit I got last year was truly unfinished. this one I just received had this weird band on the inside. My tailor just removed it.

I have a washington jacket and a Napoli jacket. The washingtion definitely fits more snugly, I had to let the arms out in the washington as they were too tight. i would say the washington is true to size but the napoli i sized down and it fit much better.

cross post from what are you wearing today:

My new wool/linen blend Lazio had its debut today as the temperature here in Denmark was reasonable for a change:

the pants loook off, but it's because of the stance for the photo (same goes for one sleeve). Still real pleased with the suit ( square is also suitsupply)

Yea Steffen! Good one! All the other pics show no one having the problems that I have as in sleeve pitch issues..wish I had a tailor around here where I live that can solve sleeve pitch issues.. does anyone know of a great tailor in central or maybe as far as Northern Cali that can take care of that. Northern Cali is 2 hours away but I can make that trip

Jacket looks good. What did you do as far as sizing? Did you order your true size or size down?

Here's my lazio fit 100% linen. The only thing is, I need a "summer suit" for graduation (seersucker is most common), and I'm not sure this blue is quite light enough. I do think the fit is very good for straight off the rack, though. Thoughts?

Looks like you have a similar issue to me. Chest is too tight. You can see it rippling in the upper chest, and then it gets too narrow. Size up a jacket if possible

It is just a tiny bit tight from the chest judging by this picture, but only just. If you sized up it would get too wide from the shoulders and and the sleeves would probably get too long. For the price I would this fits you extremely well off the rack. Only thing needed is hemming the pants.

Hi all, got an SS question and was wondering if any of you had any ideas:

I was planning to buy a great looking Prince of Wales check suit from their F/W 2011 collection that they still had on their site a few weeks ago; now they no longer have access to their
FW stuff and their summer Glenplaid suit is no longer present on the online store and I''m really fancying a more interesting suit.

Anyone got any idea where I could track one down?

I also got the band with my Napoli (which my tailor later removed). Wasn't it just a heel guard?
