Congratulations on your wedding! I think the SuperZeros will do great in their final home, but be careful using them in a PA situation because you will be tempted to turn them up higher, and risk overheating and destroying their tweeters. For their price, you may want to rent real PA speakers instead. FWIW, I've had a pair of Super 1s for many years (12+) as computer speakers, and they're pretty great. --Andre

The event is my wedding, and they will be needed to play background music in a tent during dinner. Volume is not particularly important, nor for that matter is sound quality all that critical. The NHTs are a decent choice for this but also consider the audioengine powered speakers. I think they sound great and you can get two pair for $700. Since they are powered you can attach a cd player or iPod source directly.
