Thats not prorsom, thats the regular burberry label.

What does a Prorsum label look like then? I thought the ones without "London" were the good stuff? Also, just wondering, anyone have an idea what this would cost retail? Bought it 2nd hand a few months ago, think I got an OK deal, but will find out in a few I guess once I hear from the professionals Thanks.

It does say 'Prorsum' in the knights banner if you look closely. The asthetics of this coat is not pretty. It looks like a stadard trench cut in half. It's 'battlehip grey', ugly and unstylish. If you are buying a trench for actual weather protection, buy one of regular length.

It is the authentic Burberry Prorsum label. The "Prorsum" is listed on the flag the knight is carrying.

not prorsum

The tag looks old...to the point where it comes from an era where there might not have been a distinction between lines such as prorsum, london, brit, etc...

It is an older Prorsum label, but not too old. Maybe several years at most. The Prorsum range has gone through several different label changes.

The Prorsum flag has always been the signature of the charging knight logo. See vintage label below, clearly before Prorsum was a diffusion line:

"Prorsum" simply means "forward" in Latin. First developed in 1901, their charging knight logo was used to represent how the brand continues to advance (though its original intention was to be used as a representation of their advancements in garment technology: see their jackets being used in WW1, the Arctic Circle, etc).

Today, "Prorsum" is used as a device to demonstrate a line that is fashion forward. It is the more cutting edge and fashion sensitive offering. This logo might belong to an older Prorsum garment, but as hrb stated, their most recent garments clearly state "Prorsum" below Burberry on the tags (where London, Golf and Brit stand on those diffusions, respectively).

that's definitely prorsum, if it is the london one, it will say BURBERRY LONDON and in beige not in black

You might also want to check the words on the buttons. The button normally says, burberry prorsum, london, etc. (at least the newer garments does this).

If it was prorsum it would say "prorsom" on the label AS WELL AS on the flag of the horse. You will find the term Prorsom on EVERY logo which contains the charging knight large enough.
