barker black question

I am trying to figure out my size in barker black. The shoe in question is their wholecuts. I usually wear a true 10.5 and the shoe is stamped a 9.5 european. Do you think it would fit well? I wear ferragamo 11 and santoni 10.5.

Any feedback would be helpful

I'm not sure if Barker Black has many lasts, but from my experience of ONE pair, size down 1.5 size

I don't know much about their lasts either or too much in general but was curious to get some forum feedback.

The measurements are fairly close to shoes I wear maybe just a hair smaller if that

+1, but I wouldn't buy them unless you are getting a fantastic deal. The styling is nice, but the quality of the leather is suspect. I regret having spent ~$450 for a pair of black archdales a few years back.

I own two pairs; size down 1 size and they should fit perfectly.

I own several and the UK9.5 should make a good fit.

How wide are you feet? From what I hear they run a bit skinnier than a lot of other shoes.

Mr. Monty those shoes are incredible. I would love to buy the archdales but the ones i found are the ones on the far left (straton) i believe.

Do you have any recommendations where I can pick those up from?

I own 1 pair for 3 1/2 years now, and I spent about $500-$600 on them, and honestly they look amazing and lasted just as long and look just as nice as my Edward Green's I purchased and wore the same amount.


Styling is great (I'm only 24, so purchased them when I was 20 and change) a younger sartorially inclined individual, and from my experience I've only had the best in quality.

Right side of picture can also be found in my rotation. Regular "wow" comments when wearing my brown/suede Archdales. What's up with the fat and ugly shoe laces in the pair below? Would like to add a pair of Lancers to my current mix. In general I really like my BB's, although would not pay full retail. Check fleabay.com or fleabay.co.uk for nice deals on "seconds". Wear 8.5 UK EG, same as my BB's.
