Okay I am calming down now, the first 2 knits you posted look good. But I do not like the way the jackets fit; like sacks. Or the super high waisted pants.

Jil Sander: Feel much more like Raf mainline than Jil (or even Raf for Jil) both in overall feel and the detailing (especially the pleated shorts and trousers). Also, as usual with a lot of the recent Raf designed stuff, the design detail of the season doesn't really mesh with everything else. However, I really like the cuts / proportions of the tops and the knits and shoes are great.

...

Burberry: If I hadn't known, I would not have guessed it was Burberry. Having a bit of a hard time getting past all the color, but there are certainly nice pieces.

Dolce and Gabbana: Worth a look just to see how laughably bad the fit is on some of the trousers.

Costume National / John Varvatos: I just looked at these and I can't remember anything about them. One of them featured creepers...I think.

The top left knit you posted looks good and would be really nice long sleeved. The top right knit would be impossible to wear unless you got something high waisted to wear with it. The bottom two pieces are nice but I would prefer a slightly more fitted look on that t.

Maybe I need to think about it some more. The problem is that my immediate reaction to the last 2 shows was yeazz! but this one isn't generating that reaction. I knew he wasn't going to do strong colors again for some reason.

If this marled knit look manifests itself in some good looking pieces on the rack then everything is going to be all right.

Also, you should post more.

I hate JV. I have a JV tshirt that shrunk 2 inches in length upon first wash (it was hung dry, not put in dryer). It is a belly shirt now. I have JV derbies in distressed leather, but the construction quality is appallingly low. Also they were miserably uncomfortable to wear until I got insoles. I will never buy JV again.

Sorry to hear that buddy. I own a pair of chukkas that I have been wearing the last two years, love them even if they are a bit big for me. John Varvatos S/S 12

Same safe layered collections he is always known for. Fan of the tan and camel color palette used for this season. Always enjoy his runway as a show in itself since on the street no one is able to pull off anything of his other than a suit. Really meant for nothing other than models and rockstars.

I shudder to think what the RRP will be on the plastic Jil blazers

some of the costume national tailoring is ... off? which is unusual, as the lines are usually pretty sharp, could just be a runway snafu. kind of a small departure from the usual slick approach, will probably cop when the full run hits yoox next year.

Jil definitely looks more Raf than Jil.

I am not sure how I feel about Prorsum. A departure from the past in terms of usage of colors.
