Graham Browne Bespoke Tailor - My First Suit - Page 3

I am shocked a well-known tailor like Graham could make such a suit and charge you 1100 pound.

Yes it was Russell who took my measurements and Dan who was at my final fitting. I thought it usually takes about 6-8 weeks for a suit. I will phone them and see if they will make any alterations for free. I didnt realise it was so bad censored.gif

I am frankly shocked that the tailors let you leave the shop with that suit.

I've managed to find some time to take it take. Russell was surprised and thought it was cut right, although he did remark my body shape is very difficult to fit properly (its a fine line between the suit being too large or too small) which I agree with. I will keep you posted.

Show him the thread.

It is unlikely that this suit can be "fixed' with alterations. The shoulders are way too wide, the trousers are cut too full, there is too much fabric in the jacket waist. That suit looks like it was made for a man 2-3 sizes larger than you. You either need a whole new suit made, or a full refund. I am shocked that they would charge you 1100 pound and let you walk out the door with a suit that looks like 20 bucks. You could have a fleet of better fitting suits OTR for the price they charged you. They should be ashamed at delivering a product with a complete disregard for the client.

i don't see how he can say that suit is cut right for your body. and i dont think you seem all that hard to fit. simon crompton, by his own admission, is a difficult shape - i think his shoulders are very sloped. and yet his GB suits seem to fit him. These guys are considered to be reputable tailors but I am very unimpressed by their work and their attitude here.

Did you lose a lot of weight between the last fitting and final product? because ... the suit is not cut right for you. I don't even think the shoulder fits and that is the basic of basic requirement.

No I didnt loose any weight lol. Russel seemed to like the shoulders.

It very much looks like a boy in a mans suit. I can't believe that this is bespoke, I'd be absolutely furious if it was me who'd paid over £1000 for that.

Although i dont really want to comment on the "fit" as i dont really feel qualified enough i'd love to know what the guys who are qualified think of this. I know its sometimes not the right thing to do for tailors to comment on other tailors but this to me looks like your Dad gave you a suit and it needs amending in various places. lookaround.gif

i thought the shoulders might not be too bad from front on- it's hard to tell without knowing the actual shape of your shoulders. from behind however they look way too wide.
and then there are the other problems already highlighted... i can say without doubt the fit is badly off but wish someone with more tailoring knowledge would highlight exactly why.

That fit of your suit is terrible. How can a tailor sells you this kind of clothes with a honest feeling. Wtf.

@ godatum i need to commend you for how calm you are... I would have flown off the handle bars.

I must admit this sentiment did cross my mind, i cant believe how laid back about the whole thing he is. I would need copious amounts of drugs to keep me that calm.
