It's very random and not at all important but....I've always wondered what the correct thing to say is in this situation:
You're on the phone to someone,and they say "oh,John says hello!" ( i.e there is a person with them who knows you and says hi ). How do you respond? I usually say "oh,say hi back for me", but is there a 'correct' way to phrase it?
I know,I know,I think far too much about this kind of stuff.
