I have some great ferragamo shoes that I didnt know how to treat very well and they have caked on polish and just dont look very nice. I know alot of people do this themselves but I dont think I have the right stuff to do it. Whats the best place in NYC (or brooklyn) to take them?

Minas shoe repair, 67 Wall Street. He has worked miracles on my Barkers and I have 3 pairs of Cole Haans being worked over (to put a protective layer on the sole). His price range from rather cheap to costlier depending on how much damage he's undoing.

So many things wrong with what you said.
-Firstly, he is located on the Street, which means 99% of his clients are probably flush with cash and just want a quick fix outcome (Wall St shortterm-ism.)
- You wear Cole Haans, and numerous pairs at that
- You are putting Topy or other covering on the sole. Then, what is the point of leather shoes.

I'm certain you've no idea what you're talking about, given the 'probably'.

Minas does good work for a good price. Cole Haans need care too, and reasonable people differ on the utility of Topys.
