I can't believe this wasn't mentioned sooner. I can't stand Glendale.

this is mind-boggling to me. Carousel restaurant? Brand bookstore? glendale's got some cool spots.

I don't really fuck around with the inland empire but one of those meth lab towns with 50% unemployment, starving drunken illegals, pissed off white trash, a few brutally stupid brothers, bike gangs, and Mexi gangs of various stripes, slowly rotting to death in the 100 degree heat has got to be the worse that California has to offer.

I don't get the Glendale hate.
Next time you guys visit Glendale, take the scenic route via Compton, Bellflower, Norwalk, La Puente, Duarte, and Temple City.

Avenal, Salinas, Kettleman City in no particular order. Oh, and that shithole New Cuyama. Man, that place is horrible.

Its just a very depressing city to me. I'm a westsider and I've been programmed to hate the eastside, and Glendale is probably the worst part of the eastside...its the gateway of the Valley (yuck) and the Eastside hipsters of Eagle Rock/Los Feliz.
