Engineered Garments FW 11 - Page 59

Fit is fairly slim. Both in the waist and the leg. I'll see if I can dig out a picture.

Those look great, definitely not a super relaxed fit like so many EG pants. Thanks for the pic!

No, pants like the fatigues I just can't get along with..these are definitely nothing like those.
yeah, me neither. I really like the pocket setup on that fatigues, and I have a pair of fatigue shorts, so I really wanted to get a pair but there was no way I could wear them. My ghurka pants, which I got instead, are as loose fitting as I can go. I think they are a nice relaxed, but not too baggy of a fit. I would love to see a slimmed down version of the fatigue pants that fit similar those cords or even my ghurka or USN pants.

Yeh me too. Love the olive sateen fabric, but the cut is too difficult to work into my wardrobe. A pair cut like the USN would be great.

if you don't mind the single front-facing cargo pocket then check out the ghurka pants. They fit similar to my USN pants and I have them in olive reversed sateen from this season, great pants.

The cords fit perfect to me. I used to always wear slim fit but I actually prefer the straight leg fit of the cords. I'm done with slim fit pants/jeans now. nod[1].gif

Want to get in on these cords too, but the measurements look pretty damn slim, especially in the thighs and waist. Bureau says to actually size up. How did everyone size?
Yeah, I sized up to 32. Usually I wear 30.

Just wanted to add that the Bedford is quickly becoming my favorite and most worn piece. Great wool that is helping me last this NYC winter.

Goes well with everything. 6 pockets total = winner.

Which color did you get? Fit pics?
Still thinking about getting the navy blue flannel... but i also want the herringbone.
Already bought the charcoal denim bedford.. cant justify all three

one more thing: anyone hot washed and dried their workaday cords? did they shrink too much? was it ok? did it fuck up the fabric? thanks!

Amen pseudonym. This season's WWM Garfunkel jacket is also fantastic. I've gotten a ton of wear out of mine, probably moreso b/c it's a dark charcoal wool that's very versatile.

I have the bedford in blue cotton (from S/S 11) and this season's duck canvas, and they're easily 2 of my favorite pieces. I really should invest in a wool one for something more traditional.

FlyingLotus, I have the Black Wool Bedford from FW10, I believe. Such a great piece. It's so well-made and a versatile piece. My son will be lucky to wear this in his future, lol.

the_state, for sure. That WWM piece is nice as well. I wish I could've gotten the Bedford in a Charcoal Wool, but at the price I got my Black Wool Bedford, it was a no-brainer.

I personally think you can't go wrong with any EG piece. I even love my floral pocket square, haha.
