Yes I'd like a maroon one as I've already got a blue and a grey one (past purchases from bureau nod[1].gif)

Can't possibly endorse the EG Cords enough. Started with the burgundy, just got the tan, and I'm sure I'll grab the browns next. They're perfect.

I've never been a huge fan of corduroy pants but I keep hearing such rave reviews for these EG ones it makes me want to give them a try.

Ah! Guess I haven't dropped enough cash at Nepenthes to know about this. According to the internet, there was indeed a sample sale yesterday:

Jealous of you new yorkers...

It was a strictly family/friends sample sale.

Not much stock really.

couple of beginner questions as EG is hard to find in the UK: if i am a 38 in the bedford would i be the same in lansdown?
also, i like the grey herringbone material for both- is it exactly the same? from pictures i've seen online the lansdown appears to be a shade lighter
grateful for any advice

I don't recall anything mentioned about shoes this season. When I was there a couple months ago they only mentioned the Tricker's x Nepenthes stuff coming in.

Direct any questions you might have to The Bureau. Guys give great sizing advice and have a huge collection of EG in the store. Best in the UK imo.

anyone else trying to get used to the non-slim cut of the EG cords? They are amazingly comfy, but feel so weird wearing a full-leg cut. I've literally only worn slim (or at the very least, tapered) pants for the past 5 years. Can't get used to how odd it feels (and how odd I think i look).

how are the fit of the cords compared to other EG pants? I assume they aren't nearly as wide legged as the Workaday fatigues from this season, which are huge. Closer to the ghurka pants maybe? I have those, and the USN pants from last season, and they are definitely the widest legged pants I have but I have gotten used to them and really like them. I don't always feel like wearing something really slim, especially when I'm going for non-denim. I do have some EPs Rivet chinos and RRL officer chinos which are great and nice and slim, but I enjoy wearing my EG pants equally and some days they are my absolute favorite pants to put on because they are some comfy.
