Polos WITHOUT twisty collars?

Nothing ruins the look of a polo shirt more than a twisting, deformed collar. I've had that problem with both my J Crew and BB polos. Who actually makes a polo with a decent, rigid collar? RL? Lacoste?

I've found that Tommy Hillfiger polos are pretty well made and seem to last, I've had a yellow/orange one for a couple of years and it still looks new, no collor deformation or fading

I've had a few RL polos, i find they do suffer with the twisty coller problem and they fade quite quick too

I guess you are right I mean I've had some RL polos which were in a pretty bad shape after just 1 year but I guess I was lucky with the 2 which I have mentioned above

There we are, just give Reevolving your hard earned and let him kit you out, sorted.

BBBF not only has MOP buttons--which is rare for a polo, but they also have "polo" collars (aka button-down) and are both high-quality and slim-fitting. I have barely seen any fading in the two I have. Besides, BB are the original Polo. RL uses that name under license.

I sell high quality slim fit polos for $65, with mother of pearl buttons. The collar is constructed like a woven shirt with a collarband and two layers of self fabric, instead of the typical single layer of ribbed fabric that loses its shape quickly. This allows the collar to naturally lay open elegantly. It is also a spread collar for a subtle, rakish look. They have been so popular that many sizes are currently out of stock. They will be restocked in early July. You can read about them on Put This On, The Bengal Stripe, and many customers have posted in my affiliate thread.

In private company, and on the field of course, I call them croquet shirts.

Hickey has a thicker collar. The logos may be a bit brash though depending on your age.
