Supreme has the only sweatshirt I'd think about spending $150 on. They're thermal lined, absurdly heavy, and undoubtedly well made. They're like the filson of streetwear. Call them up and ask them to send you one.

What about Hanes?

They're $10 a pop, and hold up fairly well over time.

This one looks kind of cool:

The distressed ones also seem to be on sale for $20.

The quilted one is really really nice. You can't see it in the photo, but they're lined in black jersey and there's a gorgeous green seam tape behind the blue zipper. The hood and torso are quilted and slightly insulated, but the arms aren't.

The sizing is ridiculous and huge (I'm 5'11 189lbs with a bit of a bubble in the middle and the small fits me perfectly), but the garment is well-cut, well-constructed, and very warm without being bulky. Well worth the $40.

So what are some slim hoodies I can actually lay my hands on in Vancouver or Seattle year-round (or at least without camping out overnight in from of CYC)? LA Guy's top-tens sound very nice, but most of them aren't even abundant online, never mind in stores.

I see that stevenalan.com now has W+H slimfit hoodies in stock, sizes S, M.

This may be old news, some time back they were harder to get...

I've heard the Jumacse (Diesel) is absolutely amazing. Haven't had the chance to see in person.

People mostly get all tweaked over the tiger fleece hoodies, I think. Still, I doubt the W+H slim fits will last long. I'm thinking about it myself.

No, I was going to wait until I got back from NYC on Sunday, since I expect to spend money there.

Towards the cheaper side of things, J Crew, Uniqlo, and American Apparel make good hoodies. J Crew's the most expensive at $60, but I really do like them, and they're well made, even if the zippers can be a little annoying at times. Uniqlo's stuff is just generally very well made for the price. Still, while I haven't tried it on, I'd be worried that the fit would be somewhat baggy; a lot of their stuff for the American stores is made pretty relaxed. American Apparel is really lightweight and even rather overpriced at full retail. If you go through someone with a wholesale account, though, they're a damn good buy at ~$20.

Are J.crew's hoodies slim fit?

Is there a consenus here on which brand's hoodies offered the best "fit"?

Where is the sale held? Is it over now?
