Sweetwater IPA sells for $7.50 a six pack around here, so lately its been my go to session beer. My next choice when price is an issue is anything by Highland Brewing Company out of Asheville, NC. Their Black Mocha Stout, Gaelic Ale and Oatmeal Porter are all great beers at the $7-$8 range.

Well, if you're looking for something to distill in an illicit still, it's priced well. Also, Yuengling Porter is a pretty good bang for the buck. Local corner store had it in stock, and I figured if it was made to the same standards as the lager, it and I would get along just fine.

Yuengling.

And Schlitz for pseudo-hipster posing.

I fucking love me some Yuengling; it's my go-to cheap beer. The bars back home regularly have it for only $2 a draft.

Usually lager is my go-to cheap beer choice but lately I've been really into the Black & Tan. Give it a try if you haven't already.

I'll go back and forth between the lager and B&T during the colder months. Very tasty either way.

Love that stuff, we have it here in IL, except they took the ridges off the cans!

Never seen it in Chicago though. Every time I tried ordering it when out at bars after last year's lollapalooza I got blank stares or someone tried to force Mich Ultra on me
