I was thinking about this the other day, while not a vegetarian at all, I hardly eat red meat anymore, I hardly eat pasta or potatos, and almost no bread. so I started to think about what I do eat. if I were to look at a month at home (cause I do eat very differntly when I travel) here's sort of what a month would look like:

oatmeal - 4-8 times
bacon - 4 times
brown rice 4-8 times
baby spinach salad - 4-8 times
zero fat greek yogurt - 10-16 times
beans - 10-16 times
tuna - 4-8 times
home mixed protien shake - 16 times
store bought protien shake (naked) 4-10 times
vegetable or broth based soup (home made or at resteraunt) 8 times
fruit - 10-15 times
cheese - 10 times
chicken 2-4 times
ground beef twice
cured meat - 4 times
coffee - 25 times
ice cream - 2-4 times
eggs - 4 times

how about you? anything like this

What kind of beans are you guys eating?

Gauche-Can you expand on what you eat? Maybe give us a typical day or two. It seems like your diet would get rather boring. How much weight have you lost?

used to eat tons of bacon and eggs and stopped, same thing with ice cream. I eat mostly chicken breast, beef, veggies, rice, pasta, whatever I'm in the mood for I'll run to the market and make it at home.

I eat several types of beans - black beans and navy beans, mostly, but also a couple of other types. I buy both dried and canned beans, and then I spice them up, and often add choriso or ham.

Chicken, brown rice, and assorted veggies make up the foundation of my diet - cheap, easy to prepare, and great for lean muscle gains.

when i'm cutting it's a lot of chicken breast, lean ground beef, oatmeal, potatoes, sweet potatoes, various starchyish veggies like broccoli, green beans, asparagus, lots of sriracha, and a beer a day.

when i'm not i just buy whatever i feel like at the market. a little cheese, a little bread, various cured meats, fish, ribeye steaks, and a beer a day
