+1 Considering the scarcity of W+H/Spruce I'd be happy to pay him $70 for a hoodie. I don't care about the mark up as long as I'm buying it half retail it's cool! However if there's no slim fit tiger in size small then no order for me.

Yeah I don't really think the $70 is the issue as much as the way he's planning to handle it. No one really knows exactly what each restock is going to hold. It seems like a much better plan would be to just buy stuff that you know you could resell (which would be just about any decent hoodie / thermal etc) and resell them rather than trying to take orders for a stock that is questionable at best.

Fair enough, I admit I'm inexperienced and don't know jack about any of this. Since everyone seems to think it would be best to just wing it and get whatever items look nice, that's what I'll do. Currently there's a snowstorm in Vancouver, so I'll probably head out next Friday and pick up some stock. Maybe somebody else will have stepped up by then. I do appreciate this forum and would like to contribute, but on the other hand I'm not going to move all these clothes pro bono - my time IS worth something to me, and I'd never gotten the impression that making a profit was discouraged here. Again, somebody with a car could probably do better than me, but nobody's offered their services yet.

i just find it funny that he joined this forum for the sole purpose of trying to make, what, a benjamin?

the sale was great, picked up 3 hoodies for my self. (1 blue and 1 mint tiger, 1 army green french terry) plus some tees and a shirt. but resellers will probably ruin everything. signs up just for the sake of money and abusing the sale too. i still have to pick up 4 hoodies as i promised to do for friends. hopefully someone won't grab all the stuff and resell them here or on the other SF to make his double profit.

Isn't that the only way that some people here will get a W+H/Spruce hoodie?

he'll have to wait for his mom to drop him off...

Well I think he should make a profit considering it takes a lot of time and trouble doing all that. As far as the price he wish to charge is up to him, but we got a choice to buy or not.

guys i agree with everything your saying but can i draw you attention to the ruels and say STFU?? i think everyone is aware of the prices and the markup, stop shitting up the guys thread:

Posting in someone else's thread to say the equivalent of "that's a ripoff, I saw those for less than that, blah blah" is not acceptable. Buyers here are very well informed and if it's not a good deal they won't buy it. They have a right to ask any price they want, even an unreasonable one, and you have the right not to pay it.

do you guys realize that you've both posted in a thread that was created a year ago?
