Do you get trousers pressed at the cleaners?

If so how often? How often should I have them dry cleaned? Basically after how many wearings should they be professionally pressed, and after how many wearings should they be cleaned?

You can get them pressed as often as you like, if you want to have a nice and crisp fold in the centerline of the legs. As for dry cleaning, it all depends on the usage. If they are dirty because of spills, food particles etc, then I would recommend you to dry cleaning them immediately. I only dry clean my pants at most twice a year. In the mean time, I use a cloth/wool brush to brush them off everytime I finished wearing them and hang them upside down in an attempt to get the creases out.

I just wanted an informal poll of how often the avg styleforumer gets them oressed at the cleaner vs home. I always feel like they look like **** when I press them. Does the avg styleforumer use the cleaners to press them, uf so after how many wears?

I clean my trousers if I get something on them.

I press them myself as needed depending on the fabric and how well it holds a crease. Maybe generally after everything 2-3 wearings?

I do pressed my trouser whenever I m going outside or in office or in professional parties. And it depends on the way you treated your trouser , if you made it so dirty then you cleaned it after one wearing and if not then I think after two wearing trouser should get cleaned.

I dry clean when dirty or at MOST once or twice a year. As for pressing, I do that before each wear at home with a handkerchief that acts as a buffer btwn the iron and material.
Get a better iron if they don't look that good after pressing....

Well I rarely iron the top of my trousers. I usually just set a crease back into them. Maybe you are just being picky? Maybe you are just wearing more lightweight fabric suits, which are more wrinkle prone.

Do you hunch over at your desk? Creates more wrinkles. Sit "back" a bit, raise your chair so your knees aren't as close to your chest. Keep your legs extended.

I dry clean when dirty or if I wear them outside in really hot weather.
I press them myself after two or three wearings.

Hmmmm what I am really thinking is, they are just too long (which I have known they are but never bothered to fix because I didnt care that much). Now I do care. Jyst sent 2 suits to a tailor to be perfectly altered. I usyally use nordstrom or neimans or whoever, and they never get anything right. I wonder if that us part of the problem?
